@Olo Now since I think about it, I agree with what you said, that your not waiting for size to be mainstream. I guess it would be a bad thing since you also said it would be exploited by capitalism. I thought this may be an interesting topic to dwelve in because I feel as if the size community has become so much over the past years. I also wanted to try and predict where this community is headed. You are right about how there is no single size community.

@Olo It’s what frustrates me about that movie when I think about it; hell, it bugged me when I first watched it, though I didn’t understand why: they set up the narrative of ‘an ogre is a scary monster’ for the entire movie run off of, and then do nothing to make that make sense, even though they acted like it was a thing. If they had gone for a different take, and made it so ogres were misunderstood or something, it would have worked with the Shriek we got, but it seems to be saying ogres are scary monsters, but Shriek is a lazy bum so it doesn’t matter? It’s sort of doing both at once and neither, so the point kind of gets lost beyond ‘Shriek isn’t bad’.

@TakoAlice8 You are so so kind, thank you for those lovely words I’m also not sure if this helps… But another thing that I’m realizing has helped me is that I have a friend who is on the SM side - he thinks SW are cute but would much rather be tiny himself. And he is JUST as bothered by judgy GTS fans as we are and also thinks there should be more variety in content. It helps me to hear that kind of thing from him and know that the toxicity comes from a very loud minority.

Cool! I wonder just how small they can make them…

So I’ve been pretty deep into Baldur’s Gate 3 lately. And Gale, the NPC wizard companion, who my player character is dating, would make a plausible giant or shrinker. If you read between the lines of his storyline, he seems like a D/s sub, but, I think he has it in him to be a switch. And he can tap into crazy amounts of magic, enough to cast a stronger Enlarge / Reduce spell. I made him cast Enlarge on himself to get past these jumps that he kept on failing, and it gave me Feelings I should have expected. If there were enough spell slots he would always run around like that. And to anyone who knows the game: I also tried to romance Astarion, the sexy vampire, but it failed, because he only bonds with you if you do kinda chaotic sadistic actions, but my player character acts nobly in this game.

@foreverlurk Yeah, it got lots of circulation for dunking on the graphic, but I grabbed for my own purposes…

@Olo I manage to keep myself largely doing something throughout the day, but at night, when I’m trying to sleep? There’s a reason so many of my ideas revolve around a sleeping giant.

I’m a switch, but I still get pretty pissed off when people want me to be big for them while I’m feeling small (and vice versa).

@Technomage I would expect any true horror fan would prefer to be taken than purchased.

@i-am-insane I hope you know that if you think your on the ace spectrum, you don’t have to have a label for your asexuality or your sexuality in general. Sexuality is complicated. I do also crave the more wholesome end of size scenarios. I also really like it in M/f scenarios where the bigger person is intimidating but not cruel. I also really like when the bigger person teases in M/f. I am very glad the SW community has been welcoming towards you. What I have heard from other people’s experiences, the GTS community can be a bit toxic at times but not all the time.
