For clarity, this includes comics published online (legally and usually for free or for a small access/subscription fee). As an example, my personal go-tos are Webtoons, Tapas and Manta.

I was reminded recently after reading the latest episode of Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe on Webtoons. This comic is a contemporary interpretation of the Greek gods and mythology, with a focus on the relationship between Hades and Persephone (with a non-r*pe take). A fantastic comic in general and I highly recommend it for the story, humour and art, but an added bonus is the occasional size content. This usually comes in portrayals of the titans as being many times larger than the gods, who are assumed to be human-sized (with some being able to “grow to titan size” if they are powerful enough).

Another comic of note is The Falcon Princess on Tapas. A story about a princess whose consciousness is mysteriously transferred into the body of a small messenger bird. No one else knows, including the handsome captain of the guard who looks after her. For the first half of the comic she is portrayed as a bird, or as a human in flashbacks. But there have been times her “human form” figuratively substitutes her “bird form” to represent her feelings about (and being in) a certain situation for the reader. Think, woman in birdcage type scenes.

I’m afraid I can’t share screenshots of said scenes, but LR is free to read and TFP has free episodes + “wait until free” type service (inconvenient at times, but Tapas has got lots of content to pass the time).

Anybody else have any suggestions?

I know Microhunter wasn’t particularly graphic to make me queasy, but I found it very confronting in its art and themes. These are all from Webtoons.

Violet Goes to the Beach is adorable, a lovely slice of life/romance story about human guy finding a tiny girl living at his place and taking care of her. It’s still ongoing and I thiiiink it’s supposed to come out of hiatus this year.

Gulliver’s children is about a disease that manifests at puberty that makes them uncontrollably grow and shrink and follows a character who’s trying to come to terms with this. This one’s a bit darker and is all M/m, just for the record.

microHUNTER is an apocalyptic action/adventure comic about everyone in the world suddenly becoming ant sized and also getting super powers. It’s less about giant/tiny interactions and more about fighting giant bugs and the like, but there are exceptions to that. I’m remembering a scene where there was a normal sized guy who had a tiny girl in a birdcage, so there were some decent moments even if the overall series wasn’t quite my cup of tea.

Small Blessings is a short and very cute comic about spirits/borrower type people in a house. I will mention that it’s mostly F/m but there’s like a tiny mermaid and stuff too. It’s mostly just super cute and emotional without much talking, but it’s a nice little read.

I’ll come back if I can think of any others!

I received Volume One of Lore Olympus for a birthday present and I’d highly recommend it as well. The artwork is gorgeous and I’m a big fan of Greek mythology (and mythology in general).

As for other webcomics, I’d recommend Violet Goes to the Beach. It’s sweet and wholesome and M/f.
