It heavily varies for me, depends on if I am aroused or not as well.

Normal me prefers, 1/12 scale (4-6 inches ) to 1/3 scale (20 to 24 inches) mostly because I like the idea of a willing living doll.

Aroused me prefers… the personality I hide and regret immediately after he looses control. Prefers micros to 4 inches being the cap for things I have described on another page here.

The range from 44" down to 16" is wonderful to me. I like them to be large enough to have genuinely interesting adventures.

Not that that doesn’t have it’s charms, but at that size, there’s a very real threat of the SW simply leaving if they’re that large. Not only is the enforced helplessness of not being able to do normal things part of the normal charm, at that point you basiclly need to treat them like a kidnapped person, unless there’s something keeping them there, while a foot tall or inch tall woman will never be able to open that front door, no matter how much time you leave them alone with it.

A far point. It’s worth pointing out that I would never consider having a big girl who hadn’t earned the privilege. She’s in effect a trustee. The same is true of any dolls given the status of half-sized domestics.
As far as those who are 1/3rd scale, most of them seem to be bright enough to understand that a comfortable life on the inside is preferable to taking their chances on the outside at less than two feet high.

Other dolls will frequently be restored to one-half height when the domestic chores they will be performing require them to a big enough to manage a vacuum cleaner, navigate the kitchen, etc. Occasionally I just like trotting three or four of them out at that size for esthetic effect.

I usually introduce a new girl to the house at 1/5th her original height. Just bigger than a Barbie doll, she’s the right size to be trained in the way of things by the others.

I reserve smaller sizes for dolls who have been assigned table top duties , typically for a dinner party or other special occasion.

I think that works out to be around 1.5 inches? Not 100% sure but if I were that huge, I would be kind of a big deal in that world.

One of my favorite scenarios (and the one that made me realize that I’m into SW in the first place) is for a tiny woman to be shared between two giant lovers, so my preferred size range has historically been informed by that. She should be small enough that she can be enveloped completely by a pair of soft, squished-together breasts; or threatened with bodily insertion into certain orifices; or shared between tongues in the darkness of a steamy kiss. For this, I’ve generally liked sizes that are around 3"-4".

But if it’s just her and I, then I generally like for her to be a little larger than that. If she’s too small, then her tiny body parts are just too difficult to play with, which takes some of the fun away, so I’d generally settled on a size range of 6"-12" for this. Although a few months ago, I shrank a woman to half-size, as a sort of waypoint on the path to being smaller than that, and I found that I enjoyed that size more than I’d expected. It’s now one of my favorite sizes to share truly intimate moments with a small woman, and is great for cuddling (yes, deep down I’m really a big softie).

Although… more recently, I’ve discovered some extremely tiny ladies roaming around (1" or smaller), and I’ve enjoyed that more than expected, too. There’s something to be said for having a lady so small that you can barely feel her intense efforts to please you, so insignificant that she can’t help but see you as a force of nature. So tiny that boring objects turn into something completely different, like the little ring box that’s her new bedroom. And it’s definitely a thrill to know that even a slightly wrong movement from my finger could be catastrophic to her.

Sometimes, if I’m feeling especially mischievous, I’ll make her extra-tiny, just a speck, so small that even a careless breath is dangerous, and could cause her to be lost forever. Then I’d have to spend a half-hour poring over the floor with a magnifying glass just to find her again (ask me how I know!)

So… yeah. There was a time that I could state with confidence my favorite size range for little ladies. But I can’t do that anymore, there are just too many different things that I like!
