@2ndsolesurvivor Good work! You certainly seem to know (or have researched) a lot of the technical content you used and it all added to the overall enjoyment. The characters you’ve drawn are nice too, and I feel empathy with their predicament and interested how it will work out for them.

The only disappointment (so far) was Teddy’s performance in the bedroom. His apparent lack of attention when pleasuring his shrunken wife was something I found surprising, and I’d have expected him to be fully turned on by the prospect. Also, cotton swabs were never the kind of thing I’ve imagined as a suitable dildo, and I’d have suggested a simple glass medical thermometer as a possible alternative. Lubrication is the key to happiness, and baby oil is always a good friend. However, it’s early days yet and I’m sure he’ll get it right. 🙂

    • RE: A Close Shave

@2ndsolesurvivor I liked it a lot, and found the way Angie happily helped her hubby out with that daily manly chore quite heartwarming.

I like the concept of having unequal size partners co-existing like that, with each having their own skills and attributes to make a relationship work. I find that more refreshing than having the (small) woman regarded as some kind of pet or little sex object or slave.

@bobascher Methinks it’s one of those that didn’t need your descriptive witticism Bob. 😊

      Good fun!

    • RE: Dale and Harriet

Two very contrasting pieces with a common theme, and I think both are quite sad. An interesting read nonetheless and about the right length I’d say (for me anyway).

In shrinking fantasy fiction, I think what dictates whether a story will work for the reader is the chosen size scale, which was too small for me in this case. That’s no criticism of the writing or the theme of course, it’s just a personal thing (and why many of Minimizer’s stories didn’t grab me for the same reason). I’m aware that many people DO like small size scales, so I’m sure you’ll be just fine with this one.

Bottom line is, did you enjoy writing it? You should always write to please yourself, regardless of anything else.

@olo Ha, I didn’t realise that. He’ll no doubt be pleased you’ve featured his work. I’ll maybe look him up on DA.

@olo Good one Olo. It lets the viewer imagine the story behind the scene.

NIce work on her poses and expressions.

    • RE: The HOA Inspection

@2ndsolesurvivor I enjoyed it. Not being one for explicit graphic sexual stuff in my fantasies, I found the overall “wholesomeness” quite refreshing. It was pretty humorous too.

I thought the novel scenario of having giants and small people residing alongside each other was quite original too.

    • RE: Favorite size for tiny ladies?

I’m assuming the question is for any gender (not just fellas), so my own preference has always been Barbie size.

Around eleven inches works best for my own imagination, give or take an inch or two if I’ve lost my wooden ruler.

Main reasons being, is I like creating handheld imagery or general interaction with large hands. So a woman of that size can easily be held in one hand, but there’s enough of her still on view to admire and appreciate… etc. wink

@kondo said in To the creators of this community:

      Yo!
I always wanted to know how big of a role (no pun intended) does creating size fetish content take in an artist’s personal life? I mean people have created some amazing art that surely takes a lot of time and effort. To the point that it seems unlikely that their friends or family haven’t noticed.

So how do they go about it? Do they flat out tell everyone they draw content based on their weird kink? Or is it kept a secret save for a few close IRL mates?

I find myself constantly wanting to create SW stuff of my own. But I keep dropping it in favor of the non fetish content I want to make for general audiences. I just don’t want to be associated with this fetish in the broader community…

Any advice on what to do?

I think I’m very much like you Kondo. The size fetish fantasy (although I prefer to call it a hobby which has less sleazy undertones than the word fetish), has always been a private online fantasy for me which I keep separate from real life. I rarely fantasize about it in r/l situations, and apart from my partner no one who knows me personally is aware of my interest. That’s the way it works for me, and I’m happy with it.

I understand your concern about keeping your sw creativity separate from other things you do, but you’ve lots of scope for expressing yourself on sites like this one. I also recommend DeviantArt which is a very broad canvas, with a great many people with size interests having their own pages on there. That’s where I tend to operate mostly nowadays.

Good luck with what you do, and I hope to hear from you. 👍
