What was the thing that sparked your interest?

I’m not really sure exactly. It was pretty concurrent with me getting interested in the idea of people getting eaten, which was also concurrent with an interest in power dynamics and sadomasochism. It’s hard to pick it apart from the rest, and I don’t remember for sure the ‘first time’ I was interested any of it. It’s all welded into this weird BDSM kink ball. xD

I’ve been into giant men as far as I remember. Monster Blood III, an interest in dinosaurs and dragons, and Godzilla parodies in cartoons planted the idea in my head. Gulliver’s Travels cemented it. My masochism fueled the flames.

Honestly i can’t pinpoint a specific thing. In some way or another being tiny has been ingrained in my brain as far back as i remember. My earliest memories tho involve a dollhouse i had when i was younger and wanting to live and play in it.

I can’t really pinpoint any specific media that got it started off, which leads to me to believe that it’s something genetic and inherent in me. I’ve always liked the idea of being the bigger one, and often had thoughts from a very young age of how elegant and convenient it would be to put annoying and overbearing authority figures like grumpy teachers into my pocket just for some goddamn peace and quiet. Though someone like my dad will joke and explain away all my personal quirks as being the byproduct of him accidentally dropping me on my head as an infant, lol.

I’ve always been into size differences and I’d read or watch anything with giant and/or tiny people in it. I used to think that I was the only one into it until I stumbled across some macro sites while searching for “Godzilla” and “King Kong.”

I can’t say in particular what got me interested in g/t in the first place. After several years of doing normie things, the interest in it popped out of nowhere again, and Im hyper fixated in giant men and small ladies all over again. I guess it’s because I browse around art sites like Deviantart all day, who knows.

it was an old movie from the sixties that i saw when i was watching mst3k as a kid called village of the giants. things sort of took off from there.

Never had a specific thing that got me into this. I’ve always just been drawn to anything featuring giants, humanoid or not, and it’s kind of always just been there. Used to look out at buildings in the distance and pretend to pinch them between my fingers.

The conception of it, for me, was princesses and dragons; the older stories always had a dragon kidnapping a princess, and I’ve always like dragons. It evolved from there, but that fundamental concept of going, ‘MINE!’ still resonates with me.

@i-am-insane Honestly, this exactly! Even beyond giants, the fact that so many large creatures always seemed so fascinated and possessive over the tiny princess really did something for me! What did they even do with the princesses once they had them? That’s what I wanted to know! So I guess my imagination filled in the gaps a little.

Lots and lots and lots of Tumblr my friends and also the shrinking woman (the movie) and weirdly enough king kong, but yeah those im glad I found people that have the same interests as I do it because I’ve been keeping this a secret since God know how long like alot of keeping this in the closet sort if speak so I really do appreciate everyone of you even if you dont know me .

Yep, Honey I Shrunk the Kids here, too. I saw the movie in theaters when I was maybe 7 years old, and it sparked a long fascination with shrinking.
For most of my life, it was just an idle fascination, like time travel, and for whatever reason I never connected it to sex. That is, until I stumbled on some SW and SM content a couple years ago. Once that happened…wow.
