Hmm… yeah, I get that. In the first place I only like the realistic options after all, but if we’re working off the logic that most GTS content is from men… well, it made me curious about the reverse.

If it makes things weirder. Most of my audience is male and most that have commented about penis size in my stories prefer the “giant” to have an exaggerated large one. It seems to me as if its an extra level of power over the tiny woman.

Mostly images/comics, where they either start off huge, even if they remain normal sized or get huge as they go. I read less stories these days, because it’s usually easier to tell that this will be ‘F/m’ rather than maybe having something else in there, but there generally seems to be an assumption that the woman is attractive, if not the big boobs ending up directly stated to be growing/always big/‘looming like mountains’ or something.

I mean, if it’s made by a guy, not surprised; everyone wants to to feel more attractive, and there is a focus on that for guys, but that’s why I’m asking women, because it’s clear on the ‘men writing GTS’ end they like abnormally large boobs, even if it’s not to inflation fetish extent, yet so far it seems that women don’t really care about the equivalent on men.

Hmm. Unless the equivalent is actually huge, bulging muscles or something? Big arms broad shoulders?

@i-am-insane Putting aside the fact that I’m not into big muscles myself (I know some women are) I wonder if this also comes down to perhaps a trend of men being very visual and women caring more about the emotional side. Again, I’m generalizing, I hate lumping people together like that, but I feel like there might be a general trend along those lines?

I like for the giant to be attractive (just according to my IRL tastes), but the kink is around the fact that he’s much, much bigger. And then at that point I care more about what he does than what he looks like.

@littlest-lily Is liking a pretty ween an option? I mean, I wouldnt want to hang a picture of it on my wall, but an aesthetically pleasing one is always appreciated. As for size, average is totally fine with me as well. Quality over quantity I suppose.

Not necessarily. This parallels discussions around superhero bodies and male power fantasies: portrayals of muscular men often don’t aim to appeal to women so much as to other men. But of course, it’s more nuanced than “men like muscles, women don’t”. I think because a lot of social conditioning around sex centres men and male pleasure so heavily, you may be hard pressed to find a direct equivalent to a lot of fantasy tropes (often leading to false equivalencies) without a lot of de-centering first. It’s complicated and I appreciate the effort you’re putting in to understand!

Personally, I love my giants to be broad-shouldered and sculpted like a statue, but it’s not necessary. I’d like for him to be attractive, but the specifics of his looks comes secondary to his personality, actions, intentions and the overall story. It’s a feature, not the main event. As @littlest-lily says,

Hmm. So what I’m getting here is that while good looks are desired, they’re secondary to the overall package of overwhelming size/compatible personality, is that it?

And there’s no… overemphasized feature, just… a normal, attractive man, blown up to point where he can step on people/cars/cities.

@i-am-insane (or just a normal attractive man… and we’re the ones who are small 🤭) But yeah, while I hesitate to represent all female SW fans, I at least feel like this is a pretty accurate general trend.

I do appreciate the discourse, by the way. So often when I see conversations around “what women like” I’ve seen it turn into men arguing about what they think, while ironically ignoring the women who try to participate lol

Well, I’m trying to understand, after all; it’s really interesting to me, because in most the ‘GTS Flip’ scenarios I’ve done/proposed, it’s been liked, by women as well as men, but for this… there’s definitely a type of GTS guys seem to like, yet there’s no real equivalent.

So I guess that men like the visual as much, if not more, than the actual scenario (AKA ‘I AM A GIANTESS AND I SQUISH PEOPLE BECAUSE I’M BIG!!!’), while for women it’s the scenario more than the visual.

That… actually works out fine for me, since I prefer a story heavy focus on those blue moons when I write, but it’s good to know.
