(not that I’m a big Twilight fan, but I was a bit frustrated by the sheer amount of hate that it got)
Same. I was never into Twilight or Fifty Shades of Grey, but it’s frustrating how much hate those books received. I remember seeing a thread in the giantess community about how problematic Fifty Shades was, and many of the people who were responding liked things like crush and vore and murder. There were a lot of stones being thrown in glass houses…

She’s pretty restrained…if it were me, I’d say it constantly and I’d probably end up being banned from everywhere for being annoying.

I can’t tell you how gratified I am that you’re giving us Lhyr’s perspective.
One of the goals of this story was to create a giant character who wasn’t a bloodthirsty monster and who had to navigate a very small and very fragile world without wrecking it. It’s been a challenge because I have to remind myself that not everyone would push over skyscrapers for fun.
Thank you for reading and commenting, by the way. Your feedback is always very much appreciated

I do think that sometimes something blows up with the mainstream in a bad way (ie I think there are a whole lot of misconceptions about what furries are, which leads to unfortunate levels of mocking/derision from the general population).
I think that acceptance of kinks have come a long way but there are definitely pockets of resistance, and I’ve seen furry art/vore art/other art mocked because people aren’t into it. In those cases, I think that those in the community should continue to pursue their interest and create art, stories, etc. Even if it’s never accepted by mainstream audiences, it will inspire others who share the same interests.
I will say that sometimes it’s bad behavior on the part of the community, and that should be addressed. I’m thinking specifically of the size community, who will sometimes harass real life models and companies about their kinks. It stops being about enjoying the fantasy harmlessly through art/fiction and starts to affect real life people.

@blehb I can’t hide my writing even if I tried…there are certain tropes that I have to shamelessly sneak in everytime

And I’m glad that you liked “Morsel.” I’ve always had a thing for vampires (and monsters in general) and I just had to combine them with size differences in a story. Giant fangs are just

@Nyx That reminds me; I need to check in on The Prof and Jonathan and see how things have developed.
Dooooooo it! Unleash your evil little muse! I’d read the heck out of it.
I have too many irons in the fire…
I feel this so much

RE: Your fantasizing character vs you IRLposted in Size Life Chat
I’m a woman irl but I like imagining myself as a giantess and as a male giant, and some of my favorite roleplays involved me playing the giant guy. As for appearance, my imagination pretty much runs wild. Sometimes I look like myself; other times, I look completely different or not even human at all. I could be a huge demon or alien or something indescribable…honestly, imagining myself in different ways is part of the fun for me.

@Olo I saw that you linked “Dreams of Distant Spheres” and “Precious Things” for the M/f dystopian world crowd (and for the stompy horror crowd).
I’ve read some M/m New World Order stories that were very good and it’s interesting to see how similar and different they are from F/m NWO content.

@AnnDViant I enjoyed it…the comic had more of a realistic approach to the idea of a giant person and it explored the downsides, including the sense of isolation that would come from being huge.

@foreverlurk I can understand not allowing violent or sexual content, but jeez, that is bad.
