I’m currently on the floor in a fetal position, but if any tinies want curl up next to my chest or belly, I’d appreciate the company.
A woman regularly goes for walks along the wooded trails near her home. She feels safe because she has her big German Shepherd with her. One day, a shadowy figure appears on the trail in front of them. The dog’s warning bark dwindles to a chirp as both the woman and the dog are shrunk. The stranger collects the shrunken woman in their hand and disappears.
The woman’s family is mystified by her disappearance, until the shrunken dog finds it’s way home, trailing a tiny leash.
(Yes, I pass a greenbelt every day on my way to work. Why do you ask?)
@Mrgoblinging7 The group dynamics of tiny captives guests are always fascinating. I should probably do a story from their perspective with all the biggo interaction happening “off-stage,” so the reader only gets to see the little ones talking and has to infer what happened when they were played with.
Think Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Pets.
Quinn just came out with another essay, this time about how masculine giants are perceived in Size spaces. It is an excellent discussion of the history of the Size communities and the differing perceptions of who is supposed to play which roles. Helpfully, Quinn also adds his personal experience navigating these expectations.
Being a giant is much more congenial in a world without artillery, aircraft, or nuclear weapons.
Special Unit 2 was a short-lived sci-fi/fantasy series in 2001-2002 about a secret (municipal!) police unit tasked with discreetly handling mythological creatures and events that weren’t all that mythological. These creatures were collectively referred to as “Links” (as in “Missing Link”).
In the second season opener “The Grain,” there’s a brief scene with a Link called a “Parasite,” which apparently takes the form of a tiny human and eats living entrails. Nothing more about Parasite ecology is ever explained, but who cares because it’s played by the scrumptious Michelle Krusiec in a bikini. Enjoy.

@skysayl As with so many other things, these guys would be in a much better place if they simply listened to women (who vary quite widely) when they say what they want. Too much effort, I guess.
Whether it’s anonymous roleplaying or a long-term IRL relationship, if you’re not curious about what your partner genuinely wants, what are you even doing?
