Not sure how I’m just learning about this movie but I finally watched Fantastic Planet (1973) by René Laloux. Of course my concern for the tiny Oms at the mercy of the Draags gave me crippling anxiety throughout the entire film but I highly recommend giving it a watch!

all fatalities in Size Fantasy receive the due sympathies of those who partake of such fantasies. that really resonated with me. I’ve never felt ashamed for being into the darker more scarier side of this fantasy. I know I would never hurt a tiny person nor would I want to watch a tiny person get hurt (I rescue bugs constantly) These are just thoughts and scenarios that I allow and give myself permission to indulge in. I’m a pretty sensitive person so I can understand not wanting to see or read about gore and violence, I’ve stumbled across some content that has given me a few stomachaches but I’ve also gotten anxiety attacks from gentle stories too. For me, it’s how I insert myself into what I’m looking at or reading but I’ll always appreciate both the gentle and rough side of this community. I think we balance each other out!

I was watching an episode of The UnXplained with William Shatner on Netflix and there was an episode talking about The Nephilim and other “Monsters of the Bible”. During the episode they briefly flashed this magnificent painting and I just had to share

This island is inhabited by a sea ogre, who although blind captures Lucina and her companions. Norandino, meanwhile, learns from the ogre’s wife that the cannibalistic monster does not eat women. The king manages to penetrate the darkness of the grotto and reveals his plan for escape to his friends: they would cover themselves in smelly fat and put on sheep’s wool and deceive the unsuspecting giant with their disguise. Yet in spite of this clever plan, Lucina fails to escape: recognising her by touch at the edge of the cave, the monster grabs her, takes her back to the depths of the prison and chains her to a rock.

This fetish literally isn’t real (as much of a bummer as that is). If you enjoy the fantasies in your head or what you see online and you’re not hurting a living creature, then you’re good.

@TakoAlice8 the darker side of my fantasies are definitely more focused on these Yandere type of men. It’s frightening but also a little euphoric to imagine a guy shrinking me down and taking me away simply because he knows what’s best for me or watching him absolutely decimate everything in his path as he slowly makes his way over to me. It would be a terrifying yet magnificent display of overwhelming power. Like Gazing up into the eyes of an angry God

A Giant hijacking all of my senses so that he eventually becomes my entire world is truly the ultimate fantasy for me. Like being reduced to a mere toy for his pleasure, nothing else exists but him and the only thing that I have to worry about is satisfying all of his cravings?? Yes please.
