5’3’’ here, usually picturing myself as a tiny. Ideally like 2 inches tall.

There is a side of me that wants to grow, too, that’s why I like writing stories from both perspectives. I basically like shifting.

tattoos don’t bother me, since I know they only stay on the surface. Shallow needles are ok. They’re painful though!

What I hate is the deep, lingering Novocaine needles at the dentist, and having my blood drawn. There’s something about the violation of the inside / outside separation that fundamentally scares me.

There’s a recurring trope in the MMF/m sizey scifi novel that I wrote that plays with this fear. The main character constantly crosses this boundary.

Let’s assume cis-het on both fronts.

My pet theory is that cis het men who have a fantasy about being dominated are more likely to imagine the dominator character as a human. Hence the very common giantess fetish.

But that cis het women with essentially the same type of fantasy are more likely to imagine the dominator character as non-human. Hence the pretty popular monster fucker fetish.

I don’t really have a great reason for why. The existence of actual tall men being common in women’s lives is just one idea for why.

Also I’m speaking in general. Of course there are actual cis het women macrophiles! And us trans folks who relate to that experience (hello!) and lots of other types of queer folks with all sorts of other experiences.

but in the wider sense. I’m just wondering aloud why M/f seems like the rarest macro pairing out there.

I didn’t have space to put this in the post because of character limits. But the shrinking virus that acts this way, where it suddenly shrinks anybody who’s gay, came from an author named darkMind on coiled fist. He gave me permission to use it.

I always need explanations for things, and even in his stories the virus seems to randomly shrink gay men instead of being spread through sex or coughing. It’s based on random chance and same sex attraction. I love how unexpected the shrinking is in his scenarios.

I personally think it’s acting more like a slow-spreading curse than like a virus, based on that. I think the virus is the news media’s explanation of a mysterious phenom.

Meghan/Zack’s attraction to Sasha/Gabriel is what shrunk them both. It doesn’t really matter what they call their genders, there’s something queer going on there, even if it was “just” a trans man / straight woman attraction, it’s all too confusing and atypical for the virus’s taste, and down they both go.

Just look to animal husbandry for clues. Nobody suggests keeping small animals in jars long term. Every type of animal needs something like substrate or private shelter or a water source that a jar doesn’t include because it’s too small and too vertical.

Food goes in jars. Bugs trapped by amateurs go in jars. A jar just traps a tiny, but it gives them no privacy and no coziness. It’s not shelter. It’s a prison, fit for a mere object or for a curiosity.
