Certainly not alone! I’m somewhere on the asexual spectrum so I can’t find much interest on the sexual side unless a deep connection has been built between the characters. Taking the time to appreciate how raw and vulnerable a space it is for both the giant and tiny to get to the place they’d feel safe exposing themselves in that way. Not just for the sake of nudity, but I respect that’s very different for everyone!

RE: What do you enjoy about size stuff?
Size differences just heighten so much about the relationship between characters.
Every time you’re alone in a room with someone, there’s an exchange of trust there. You both know you could do something to each other, even if it is buried under the surface, especially as that trust builds. Sure, there are definitely differences between different people and how much others ‘outclass’ each other based on physical capabilities, and subsequently, if they have tools to defend themselves. But we’re all still trusting (or not trusting) each other to some level.
When one character vastly outsize another, that changes. The giant doesn’t have to trust the tiny in the same respect. There’s not much the tiny can do to physically harm the giant. Why would the tiny stick around knowing the giant could harm them by some accident? How that trust is achieved and maintained (or just stolen, point blank) is so fascinating to me. There’s extra levels of complexity to address with such blatant power imbalances. Does one lean into it? Do they try to avoid it? Does the avoidance lead to accidents?
Ultimately, to me, size differences lend themselves to beautiful character driven interactions because trust has to be earned (or taken) on a much more extreme scale.

RE: When Chaotic Good Giants Attack
@miss-lillipants Yeah, I’d consider myself an ecologist at this point, haha.
Ooh were you guys using box/Sherman traps? One of my other favorite things that is such size fodder is when we trap small rodents in Sherman traps (they’re live traps for catch and release) in the winter, we’ll throw in cotton balls to keep them warm. But sometimes, in the morning, they’re still chilly, so we’ll hold them in our pockets until they’ve warmed up enough and then release them in a safe spot just makes me think of a brownie/borrower/tiny human getting in one on accident and then getting warmed up by a giant hand
I hope you do get to it one day! Honestly, I’m almost talking myself into writing a little short story

RE: Disaster and confrontation
@littlest-lily This 14 step program reminds me of a one-shot I read on deviantArt probably over a decade ago.
My hazy memory of it was in the lore, giants could shift between a ‘human’ size and being over a hundred feet tall, but being human size was super uncomfortable. The woman was terrified of giants and because of terror from humans, the giant didn’t feel comfortable returning to his true form, but they helped each other out - her encouraging him to shift back to his true size, holding his hand at first as he started to get bigger, then being in his hand. Goodness, what a cute little story it was.

RE: When Chaotic Good Giants Attack
@tiny-ivy Good ol’ mist nets! We use them for bats too
I’ll use little coffee stir sticks to help get the fine mesh over their shoulders and around their wings because they’re just so delicate and you don’t want to accidentally tear them. But man, they have some flexible necks and will turn and bite the crap out of you while you’re untangling their limbs.
We’ll also give them uniquely numbered bands (like their own jewelry) to put on their arms sometimes so we know if the same ones come back! Ah I could go on for days. For sure if an ecologist -esque character is something they want to write, I have sooo much info I could provide
Also just reminded me that sometimes we use objects like a mini pringle cans to hold the bird steady for a quick second to weigh them

RE: When Chaotic Good Giants Attack
I love this thread and think about this sort of thing a lot because I do work with wild animals, so part of my work is abducting animals to collect data and then putting them back where they had been (I joke that they now have an alien abduction story to tell their friends) and I try to give them a little fruit afterwards, like they just went to the doctor’s office and get a lollipop afterwards, all while I marvel at their cuteness
Also brings up a fun related idea of an ‘ambassador’ tiny, that is many too injured to be in the wild but helps spread awareness of tinies importance to the ecosystem with a normal sized handler

RE: What small details really elevate size content for you?
@i-am-insane Totally agree with this!
I was going to add that accidental displays of power are a fun detail. Especially early encounters where the giant is still figuring out how fragile said tiny is. Maybe they squeeze a little too tight (could even be when rescuing a tiny and they aren’t as careful).
Or maybe even the tiny is playing a prank/trying to pinch the giant, something. And their efforts are just a tickle/not much to the giant. Just showing how much power they have over the tiny. All the more so when the giant is careful so much of the time and its an accidental reminder of it all.
The beautiful contrast size creates and how that inevitable power indifference is handled by the characters is just so fascinating and lovely to me.

RE: Sugar Buns
@giant-me Gonna make it really hard to get a final count if a tiny lady keeps eating the jelly beans - but then again, maybe someone got tired of some mathematician always getting the right answered and decided to change it up

RE: Role call
Hey everyone! This is a kind of old thread, but I thought I’d go ahead and introduce myself here. I go by Zoey, and I love writing as a tiny (preferred size b/w 3" - 18" relative to the giant).
I’m down for scenarios with growth, shrink, or pre-established size differences. I tend to prefer scenarios that are a bit gentler, but as I get to know my partner, I’m willing to explore darker themes. Trust especially in relationship to size differences is a huge kink of mine, so if that’s something you are interested in, hit me up!
My hard no’s are bathroom play, hard vore, and extreme gore.
Long-term rps are more my bread and butter, but I’m open to getting started with a short one off and seeing what works and what doesn’t.
