the small print 3: Take 2
-
I am happy to announce that submissions are open for “the small print 3”.
I had previously attempted to get this collection assembled before some fairly significant (but not bad) events happened in my life. Those events are fading into the background and I am stoked from attending this years SizeCon. I want to be handing these out at the next live event.
For those who are unfamiliar with “the small print”, it’s a Size anthology featuring as many writers and takes on Size as we can fit into one slim volume. Stories featuring any variation of Size, gender presentation, orientation, level of violence, and level of sexual content are welcome. The idea is to promote writers in the community. Show readers some authors they might not have stumbled across yet.
The first volume had 28 authors. The second had more, plus some public domain Size samples (Gulliver, Gargantua etc). The third will have at least one “lost” Size story.
Stories need to be 3,000 words or less and feature no minors, bestiality, or characters under someone else’s copyright. I reserve the right to reject any story. Please submit content tags with your stories. The last time I opened up submissions for this project, I put a requirement that stories had to feature a couple. Don’t worry about that. I want to make sure I have the spoons to get this out, I don’t need any further complications. Three inch Robinson Crueso is on the table.
Please note. No matter what format you submit in, I have to transfer it to the final document causing slight shifts in spacing. For the most part, that’s not a problem. If your story only works if the text forms a picture of a giant man pole-dancing on the Washington Monument (I almost typed Manument), that might be a bit much for my nerves and skill set.
Now I want to see that story.
Just not as a submission.
I can’t pay authors what their stories are worth and I don’t have the resources to maintain a royalty split over 30+ people.
Writers donate their stories and I promise not to make any profit from them. PDFs of the collection will be made available for free and a print edition will be made available at cost. I’ll be as transparent as possible when showing what the publisher is charging. I will try to hand out free print copies at the next in-person Con, but that is contingent on my budget. This year I was able to distribute over 50 copies of the first two.
Submission can be sent to Mr.Taedis@Gmail.com. Feel free to send any questions there as well. Or here, Bluesky, or Discord.
The agreement I made with authors for the first “small print” don’t allow me to distribute it openly online. Here are links for the print and PDF versions of “the small print 2”.
