Steak Tartare is (Usually) ground raw steak served with a raw egg yok on top. It usually includes spices and bits of onions, mushrooms, and the like. Many season it with Worcestershire sauce. Just so you know eating raw meats are not unusual. Not recommended, but not unusual.
Side note: There is also Tuna Tartare and Horse Tartare. I have not tried any of them. So I have no opinion on their tastes.

I have tried several sashimi sushi rolls and I am a fan of most of those if that helps any.

Added later: Most Raw Cookie dough in North America will likely be safe since we pasteurize our eggs. And they are the reason raw cookie dough might be a risk. Still, most sight recommend against it.

Look, if they can’t respect that you have a life beyond their story then that’s their problem. Yeah, if the paid for a commission, then maybe if you were late they could message every other day or so. But I got the feeling you’d have been up front and allowed them to know of any delay due to unexpected life drama. Some people just think the world owes them and everyone needs to bow to them.
Heck, if it was an unpaid and they were that pushy, they deserve to be ignored. Forget them and write what you like.
