S+P 37 - Busted

Excuse me WHAT?! Uhh time to find another site to write on I guess, is anywhere safe? Good lord the amount of unpublished/under construction stuff I have right now, this would be such a nightmare. I’d love to back up locally but I’m not even sure how to do that since I don’t have Microsoft Office…

@foreverlurk Nah, I know there are some situations where it could happen, I’ve just seen/read way too many moments where I don’t buy it

I do enjoy a bit of temporary unaware scenarios! I get a bit bored if a story is entirely unaware, especially since it usually ends in death if that’s the case, so I always say that I’m not into unaware. But this thread is highlighting the fact that that’s not actually true - if there’s eventually a moment of discovering then I love it for all the reasons mentioned!

I also enjoy how it plays into my love of micro. The idea that I’m not hiding from him - in fact I’m doing everything I can to get his attention and he still doesn’t notice me?? So terrifying and thrilling. And being discovered in that situation, even if he clearly isn’t a cruel person, is still very scary due to the size difference.

I also like a bit of semi-awareness, if that makes sense. Not so much getting mistaken for a bug or something (that’s actually a bit of a pet peeve of mine because I feel like if she’s big enough to be seen/noticed, the shape/color of her should also be apparent enough to recognize that she’s not an insect… But I digress.) I’m more referring to scenarios where he is aware that she’s around but loses track of her somehow. Whether it’s a cat and mouse type hunt, or a silly teasing type game, or he’s legitimately worried and fretfully searching, I love those moments. Gah one of my favorite lines to hear from a giant (that could be said in all kinds of tones) is “ah, there you are” 🫠

S+P 36 - One Fine Morning

@blehb Yeeeess I love my maxiatures! I have a few things and plan to continue collecting them, my go to being a blanket that looks like a giant leaf and a cushion that looks like a cherry blossom. Total fairy vibes when I cozy up with them.

@blehb OMG I had the exact same experience with Wheatley hehehehe, it’s already one of my all time favorite games but that little detail was so very nice~

@Giganto82 Thank you so much!! Life has been particularly crazy lately so my mind has been too exhausted to write (while drawing has been good stress relief). But I’m hoping to get back into it eventually, once I’ve finished with my big move and whatnot

S+P 35 - Freedom Extension

@SmolChlo I’m notoriously bad about taking pictures when I’m hanging out in VRC. I do like this little moment when I was trying to take some selfies right as my friend goes in to grab me lol

@skysayl Yeah it can be hard to tell if what you’re looking at is someone moderately large and closeup vs someone very very large and far away. I’ve found it helps when they put a hand next to you or other things to get a better comparison, or when there’s a larger group of different sizes to look up and see the different “levels” of people. I would imagine it’s a lot easier to trick the eye if you’re in the bigger role, alas.
