@TakoAlice8 I am on the taller average side of the height slide (5’7”/170cm) for a woman in Sweden, and while I have had insecurities regarding my height, I fail to see it fully correlated to my fetish… I guess at times my wish to be shorter could be connected to how I’d like to feel a little bit more tiny and less ”clumsy” in some situations, but otherwise I guess I am quite content just existing as I am and then using my fantasies to really go wild with size differences 
I myself have also never noticed my fetish to in any way ”interfere” with my preferences for a partner, sure I imagine a hell of a tall guy to swoop me off my feet (with just a hand of his 
) but in real life I’ve been in love with, and admired guys shorter than me, taller than me, and men as tall as me.
But I know many have discussed this phenomenon of wanting to be their own opposite in height on tumblr, especially regarding needing comfort and safety, or out of a need of feeling wanted and needed. Some have called it height dysphoria over there. So I believe there definitely are people whose desires are driven by wishes to be vastly different from how they are in the real world.
I usually center a lot of my imaginations around already existing characters and franchises, so when it comes to the worldbuilding aspect I usually just tweak the already existing world and story a bit to make it fit the size narrative I have in mind 
But generally I like having a sense of why something happens, maybe not the entire history of how it came to be, but just the knowledge of that the world the vast size differences exist in have some sort of explanation to them - wether that is via a curse or aliens or whatever. So worldbuilding is generally important (or is that just details overall, I may misunderstand worldbuilding haha) for me to fully feel entertwined with the story/imagination and enjoy it. But am I feeling extra frisky the world around whatever scenario presented usually is not too important 
Ah, I have way too many fictional crushes and desired “I’d-love-to-be-tiny-around-you”. I’ve been coping heavily by imagining my absolute favourite characters from each show or game I watch/play as giant guardians of me or another character within the same franchise.
I would say I also agree with both Link and Howl mentioned above, one softly suave and one kindly determined, perfect choices; both of them
I feel almost embarrassed but as my current interest is very much Genshin I’d say Zhongli is a choice I’d make. I tend to draw myself towards the wise, ancient/immortal, god-like characters. The ones that even if my height are still extremely advantageous, strong and just know of it yet are catious of it. So I like to amp that up with some height fantasies because why not?
@SmolChlo ahh, I was genuinely talking to myself as I uploaded this about not really having a style - or that at least I enjoy replicating styles/art movements as that is truly how I wish to encapsulate something (though I wish to learn how to incorporate it into a settled style). So it warms my heart to read this

Who I would also love to dominate me/terrify me. Even if unintentionally, my absolute favourite part of it all is the scare of someone so great finding you.

He knows I adore catching a ride close to him (and he seems to love it too, if the quickening heartbeat as soon as I enter the pocket is anything to go by), I am almost a 100% certain he’s onto me whenever I pretend to need the help, at this point he just plays along 
@littlest-lily I swear the impulse to touch a giants face as they want to sleep/nap must be universal. But personally I can’t help but admire him, my touch just happens to be light and therefore ticklish!
As mentioned too it is very much in retaliatory fun, we both have our ways to annoy one another

@SmolChlo The funny thing is it was completely coincidental, I accidentally made the shading brush vertical but it worked in my favour as I realized it looked like there was movement
