RE: What was the thing that sparked your interest?
I’ve always been into size differences and I’d read or watch anything with giant and/or tiny people in it. I used to think that I was the only one into it until I stumbled across some macro sites while searching for “Godzilla” and “King Kong.”

RE: Dungeon Soup - How much for the tiny man? (M/m)
@blehb Heh heh, that was great. I have to wonder if the creator is either one of us or will eventually turn into one of us.

RE: What does your giant look like?
@olo So beautiful that his gaze causes people to spontaneously combust.

RE: 3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man
@littlest-lily He does become giant-sized so the title is appropriate. I’ve noticed that a lot of macro-content is inconsistent when it comes to size, though. One minute a giant character looks like they’re twenty feet tall; the next, they look like they’re seventy feet.

RE: Fun with Redditors
@Olo Is it possible to post a screenshot for those without Reddit accounts? (That includes me…I’m not able to see it because it’s NSFW
)

RE: Giant Reactions
@smolchlo I like to imagine the giant’s reaction as either gleeful and teasing or cold and calculating, especially if the tiny woman is scared out of her mind.
-
RE: Hamster Maze
@SmolChlo Yesssss! Hamster balls make convenient storage spaces (when the giant isn’t storing tiny people in a pocket or elsewhere)

(not that I’m a big Twilight fan, but I was a bit frustrated by the sheer amount of hate that it got)
Same. I was never into Twilight or Fifty Shades of Grey, but it’s frustrating how much hate those books received. I remember seeing a thread in the giantess community about how problematic Fifty Shades was, and many of the people who were responding liked things like crush and vore and murder. There were a lot of stones being thrown in glass houses…

I do think that sometimes something blows up with the mainstream in a bad way (ie I think there are a whole lot of misconceptions about what furries are, which leads to unfortunate levels of mocking/derision from the general population).
I think that acceptance of kinks have come a long way but there are definitely pockets of resistance, and I’ve seen furry art/vore art/other art mocked because people aren’t into it. In those cases, I think that those in the community should continue to pursue their interest and create art, stories, etc. Even if it’s never accepted by mainstream audiences, it will inspire others who share the same interests.
I will say that sometimes it’s bad behavior on the part of the community, and that should be addressed. I’m thinking specifically of the size community, who will sometimes harass real life models and companies about their kinks. It stops being about enjoying the fantasy harmlessly through art/fiction and starts to affect real life people.

RE: Let Me Get This Straight
@miss-lillipants said in Let Me Get This Straight:
In the end, the giant man is my object, and what he does is what I wish for him to do, and what I wish to witness - just as giantesses, despite their position of power, are the object of someone else’s (mostly men’s) desire. I think a lot of straight men find being literal giants hard to reconcile because of how so many fantasies are tailored them - they don’t need an excuse to put women into positions, but when those tables turn and men become the focus of someone else’s fantasy, it’s got to work for them, which centres them again (even if it’s got nothing to do with them). There are exceptions of course, and the beauty of fetishes is how varied and diverse they are.
This is my experience as well, and why a lot of giantess and shrunken woman content doesn’t appeal to me. In terms of giantess content, there isn’t a lot of content that focuses on how desirable the tiny man is; the focus is usually on the woman because the creator can’t imagine himself as being the object of desire. I see the same thing with a lot of shrunken woman content, where the man isn’t supposed to be desirable and is often just depicted as a hand or other faceless non-entity.
That said, I don’t want to judge anyone for their desires. I know that many men like their focus to be on the giant or tiny woman. Meanwhile, I’ll be shamelessly dreaming about giant men striding through cities

RE: Petrichor - a novel in "open beta" - [M/f, minigiant, post-apocalyptic dystopia, slavery, military setting]
@kisupure I loved Jack and Diane, and oh my gosh, I’m loving this full-length story so far. It’s not just the size difference parts, either (although those are extremely good); you’ve created a compelling story and a universe that feels very real and very engaging. There’s a gritty realism to the dystopia, and I like all of the little details that you’ve added to it. The idea of the Anakim’s fear-inducing pheromones is innovative and I hope that you explore it more.
I’ll admit that I’m curious about the significance of Signy and this person’s relationship to the Anakim. Were they a scientist, a soldier? As for the Anakim, I like how they’ve been given more human emotions and aspects in Gray’s eyes. The death scene with the Anakim and Gray was the right mixture of poignancy and power.
Anyway, I hope to read more, and if you decide to sell the finished story, I’d definitely buy it

RE: Question
I tend to focus on extreme size differences; a part of my brain really likes the idea of “the bigger, the better.” Most of my stories/fantasies involve 1 inch tall people (or the equivalent if it’s a giant scenario).

@Nyx Thank you SO MUCH Nyx. I was told by someone else on another platform that the way I write is still very “purple”, and I couldn’t quite wrap my head around that… I guess I like to take a scalpel to my characters’ inner lives and that’s considered egregiously descriptive in the normal lit world. Oh well, I’m lucky that kink readers like that sort of thing! (I’ve started calling it “stylistic overwhelm”.) And hope you enjoy more weirdness coming from characters on both sides of the war here soon.
I don’t think that your prose is purple at all…in fact, your style is one of the things that I like about your stories (besides the very large men, of course
). It flows well and it’s easy to immerse myself in your writing, and I would eagerly read any non-size fiction that you wrote. And honestly, I wish that more writers spent time on their characters’ inner lives. That’s part of the thrill for me as a reader, experiencing a character’s emotions and how they react to both mundane events and life-altering ones.
As for Chapter 6, I like how more mysteries were introduced, including the human-sized cigarettes (and whether there are humans living with or working with the Anakim). The fact that the sentinel is touch-starved was surprisingly heartbreaking, and I realized that both he and Gray are sort of outsiders. Gray seems to want to rebel in her own ways, including pocketing the cigarette and agreeing to a rendezvous with the sentinel, and I have to wonder if this behavior will eventually get her into deep trouble.
