He needs to tell you that you’re wrong. It’s not just about avoiding things that he doesn’t like…he needs to actively stamp it out. That’s the part that irritates me the most because it discourages people from participating in the community and dang it, I really want to see more M/f creators.

@giantmaneddie Mind control goes so well with size scenarios. I love the idea of a giant having a tiny, living puppet.

@blehb As much as I love intimidating and dominant giants, submissive male giants are also A+.

I like both shrinking and growth scenarios, but I lean more toward the man growing huge because I love the idea of someone having so much power over everything else. At that point, he becomes a force of nature, like a living tornado or earthquake.

After so many articles equating macrophilia to “giantess fetish”, it’s nice to see an article that mentions all sexual orientations and genders.

I think that one of the reasons why switches have become more common is that the community has become more open. It used to be that giant men and tiny women were treated with hostility (and they still are, in certain spaces) but now it’s more acceptable for someone to be both giant and tiny.

For giants, I’ve always loved clothing that denotes power or intimidation or elegance, so business suits, armor, leather jackets, etc. In fact, I often imagine entire scenarios built around that type of clothing. So for example, if I’m in the mood for a guy in a suit, I’ll imagine a CEO stumbling across borrowers or somehow growing.

For tiny people, it depends upon the scenario. If they’re naturally small and somehow shunned from human society, I imagine makeshift or doll clothes.

@maladaptivetiny I can see why that mermaid was willing to leave the ocean…the giant is absolutely gorgeous

@blehb I usually prefer temporary unawareness and I love the moment when the giant discovers a tiny person. Does he react with concern and compassion? “Oh, there’s a tiny person! Can I help you?” Or does he react with a devilish smile and then snatch them up?

@foreverlurk I just felt my heart break That idea has been on my mind lately, of a man who watches as his girlfriend dwindles away, smaller and smaller, until he is literally her world.

@Olo Even if a story/drawing seems like it’ll be unpopular, it’s still worth sharing it. You never know who will see it and feel less alone.

@Olo The amount of tags on AO3 seems to be both a blessing (because it helps readers to find certain content and avoid other content) and a curse (because there are so many of them). I’m not that great when it comes to tags but I try to tag violence and other content that readers may not want to see.

The site does have some nice features, such as being able to subscribe to authors and stories.
