What are your favorite clothing items for giants/tinies?

Doll clothes, tissue paper togas…and of course
NOTHING.

@SmolChlo I love love love office settings in size content. Why do I love it so much???
Giants looking handsome and sophisticated certainly helps. -
@blehb most of the men I see around the office give off Giant energy. Every morning you hear them coming down the hallway, their shiny shoes clicking hauntingly in unison. They don’t move out of the way for anyone let alone even bother to gaze in your direction if you cross their path. The contempt in their eyes when they have to engage with one of us lesser workers really sends me. Plus the spiffy suits really set the tone of superiority
Ughh I eat. this. up
️ I purposely go out of my way to say Good morning/happy Tuesday! -

@skysayl ugh and I just love it when they stop directly above like that! So intimidating. Like halp I’m jus a smol bug
Oh, this is a thing I do with female tinies at the office. I lift up my shoe and rest it on the top of her head ever so slightly, then when someone asks what I’m doing, I say, “Look! She’s wearing a giant as a hat!”
(Very topical, since this thread is about the best clothing for tinies.)It also makes a great last-minute Halloween costume idea. Sort of like a couples costume…

@SmolChlo I love the idea of a guy having a tiny secretary on his desk. She can do a bunch of little errands for him, but at the same time is nice to look at.

And then he carries her around in his shirt pocket and she takes notes for him and keeps track of his schedule. And they get lunch together and take coffee breaks and stuff.

-
@blehb Every day I search my desk for her, but she hasn’t appeared yet.
-
@Olo Whenever you misplace something it was actually her.

For giants, I’ve always loved clothing that denotes power or intimidation or elegance, so business suits, armor, leather jackets, etc. In fact, I often imagine entire scenarios built around that type of clothing. So for example, if I’m in the mood for a guy in a suit, I’ll imagine a CEO stumbling across borrowers or somehow growing.
For tiny people, it depends upon the scenario. If they’re naturally small and somehow shunned from human society, I imagine makeshift or doll clothes.
-
I don’t usually dress up the male characters in my stories (Or my daydreams) that much since I myself don’t have much of a wardrobe.
The shrunken ladies depends on the story. Some times they have cobbled together clothing. Sometimes adjusted to fit doll clothes. Several times I use the excuse of specially made clothes to put my tiny fantasy girls into the clothes I’d like to see them in. Short skirts, low tops, and all a touch tight. I know, its a bit sexist but its my fantasy. I wouldn’t expect a woman in my life to dress that way. I wouldn’t complain if they did however.
Now SmolChlo 's statements got my mind trying to build a story. But all I got was:
Chloe Small was running late for her company wide meeting. Something big was coming down the pike and they were all expected to attend. Rumor was the company was diversifying. In other words, downsizing. But her computer was slow again and she needed to file that report before going to the meeting.
She escaped her cubicle and was rushing down the hall when the clicking of corporate shoe made her look behind her. A man flanked by a man man and a woman wearing steel grey suits that screamed upper management money. Their jet black shoes shined freshly polished. The two behind carried really wide metal briefcases. They must be here to do the presentation she thought.
The front man stated with distain, “Miss your late.” The way he said it seemed so final.
Chloe raised a hand and started, “I’m sorry. I had to file my report.” But before she could say anymore he pointed what looked like a laser pointer at her. It flickered a pinkish purple.
The world suddenly grew. The three continued towards her. This shiny shoes now clicked louder and louder thunder as the approached. The front man nearly crushed her under his step as he walked passed commanding, “Add that product.”
The smartly dressed woman simply noted, “Yes sir.” and she swooped down and snatched Chloe off the floor like she was picking up a piece of trash. Chloe watched a panel on the briefcase pop open and she was dropped in nonclonally. The last words she heard before falling into darkness was the other man saying, “That one will likely sell quickly.”
Chloe slid down a shoot into a dimly lit chamber. Several other lady staffers were trembling in the blue glow. The front desk receptionist looked at her and simply said in a sad tone, “You were late to huh?”

@HHunter1 the speed at which I looked up and whipped my head around to see if management was coming (I’m still at work) LOL
-
@SmolChlo Glad you enjoyed it. Sadly I don’t have any idea past that at the moment.

For giants? (Read, me?). The way I see it, there’s two options: one, I have access to actual clothes my size, for whatever reason, and in which case… casual. Like. Really casual. No socks, no shoes, since my feet are really tough, just soft things that are easy to put on, with lots of pockets, since I’m a bit of a horder. The fact the the pockets are good for storing
peoplethings is just a bonus. If it’s more realistic, as in, clothes for a 50+ foot behemoth are not, in fact, reditly available? Minimal since, in all honesty, I probably don’t care too much about keeping to normal standards. Cover the bits, maybe something around the ankles for someone to hold onto, and thats it.
For tinies… mandatory ‘nothing’ aside… a really elegant dress always hits the spot for me. Those quality ones that toe the line between showing a lot of skin and being classy, and which side it’s on depending on how it’s arranged. High heels are great, and also those really tall thigh high high heel boots that cling to the leg?
And, of course, something that shows some of that cute belly.

Meanwhile, in the more ‘unoffical’ style of clothing… collars are always a must. Great symbol of showing their place. There’s also something nice to paint, edible or otherwise… just. A painted on ‘bodysuit’, maybe, that looks real and somewhat respectable at first glance but really isn’t, or something more artistic that’s clearly designed to emphasis her lines. And, you know, chocolate. Or maybe a nice layer of syrup, for that ‘drenched in mud’ vibe, but instead of filthy she’s sweet…

Not only symbolic… can confirm giants apparently love to drag us around on a leash.
-
I mean… if you’re small enough, then it might be like an anklet or something on my part, and for the tinies it’d be less, ‘being dragged around’, and more, ‘hitch a ride on my shoe, or else, because you’re not going to slow my step in the slightest’.

Why do I feel slightly called out…
