(I love this so much. I absolutely adored the mild offense she had for the term “crush”. That made me laugh out loud.
The rest is so sweet and realistic, too! Not a trash fire at all!)

@Olo crap that’s right they show him eating living things… If would totally fit in the world
@mrgoblinging7 I knew my curiosity would be my undoing… I thought I was reading the INGREDIENT list, not the SPELL ITSELF…
@miss-lillipants
(This is a beautiful idea. It’s so inspiring and I love the many types of tones possible from all the different subreddits that would exist. And how short the pieces can be. And split up across many days. Aaah! 🤯 )
So I’ve been pretty deep into Baldur’s Gate 3 lately. And Gale, the NPC wizard companion, who my player character is dating, would make a plausible giant or shrinker.
If you read between the lines of his storyline, he seems like a D/s sub, but, I think he has it in him to be a switch. And he can tap into crazy amounts of magic, enough to cast a stronger Enlarge / Reduce spell.
I made him cast Enlarge on himself to get past these jumps that he kept on failing, and it gave me Feelings I should have expected. If there were enough spell slots he would always run around like that.
And to anyone who knows the game: I also tried to romance Astarion, the sexy vampire, but it failed, because he only bonds with you if you do kinda chaotic sadistic actions, but my player character acts nobly in this game.
@bigcuddlygiant This is so sweet, a little moment I’d love to get lost in. (And the giant is really handsome!) You bring so much to the table each time!
@theophilous Are Poison Pen’s stories worth seeking out? (BTW, Olo, I love your writing! I’m so glad that this site now exists for me to actually see this type of story front and center!)
@BryTheGuy it’s always a highlight of stories when I find it, too! They’re just so damn tiny!
I need to look at an actual science textbook to figure out how small the tiny would actually have to be to be able to see sperm with their naked eyes. I usually imagine the sperm as tadpole-sized to the shrinkee- still small enough to swim up their cunt in a terrifying parasite-like swarm. It adds to the fear play in my fantasies.
@green extreme restraints dot com dental floss, of course!
@olo my husband and a few close friends. I’ve found that nerdy queer people aren’t that shy about talking about their kinks in a detached, general way when they trust one another to not shame them.
@thumbloverver2 as a tiny: Only if it was entirely reversible, and something that the user controls, like the suit in Antman. But even that causes problems of its own. But I just wouldn’t pick fights with supervillains, and hope the machine works right the whole time.
As for shrinking others? Never. Maybe for inanimate objects.
@i-am-insane ooh.
Great ideas. Mind if I riff?
And what if the Lilliputian woman was straight? So the whole time, she only saw her woman caretaker as a captor, an enemy, a rival, maybe possibly a friend, once she realizes the giantess doesn’t want to harm her. Once she develops trust with her.
But on week 2, after finally starting to adjust to this new life, this new identity as a permanent pet to her, after realizing that getting back to her normal size world would require an impossible escape and movement through the giant world that she couldn’t do safely, the captor woman mentions her boyfriend for the first time.
The next day, he walks in. And the Lilliputian is overwhelmed by desire for this well-sculpted man. It’s ridiculous, he’s a monster in size, he’s a god, he’s a threat, how could she have a schoolgirl crush on him?
What if he’s less gentle than his girlfriend? What if he sees her not like a curious pet, the captor does, what if he sees her the way the Lilliputian’s awful first dates saw her, as a conquest, a notch in his belt? But! What a belt to notch!
@olo Ah! I have a new happy scenario to focus on during tough times, thanks to this piece.
There have been so many fantastic sweet / cozy artworks on this site recently. Thank you for adding this one.
