I know this movie has a great hologram scene for GTS fans , but upon rewatch, I’ve noticed my compatriot Denis Villeneuve has slipped an interesting setting in the JOI software, first on top of the list :

I wonder how low that setting can go? 30? 15? 5? And with the projector he gifts her, that could open up possibilities for a tiny SW hologram following you around. I like it!

@foreverlurk Reminds me of Star Trek: Voyager when Kim and Torres tried to transfer The Doctor from Sick Bay to Engineering and they got the size wrong.

@Olo oh I remember that episode, ah! Used to watch ST with my father back in the days.

You know when I think of it, tiny AR holograms or full VR with haptic feedback gloves might be the closest thing we’ll ever get to ‘real’ SW.
