I can just imagine him having to wake her up whenever they get anywhere because the thumping of his heart and the warmth of his chest lulled her to sleep.

@olo I could really use a vacation to this reality.
I’m picturing, it’s temporary, like 12-18 hours, and the standard way of waiting for it to wear off is to fall asleep.
It’s considered something you only do with trusted partners. If a first date tries to take you to the shrinking studio, it’s suspicious. Usually that’s men begging the women to do that, and staring at the women’s shoes suspiciously long at dinner. -

Shrinking studios would be hella expensive given how much insurance they’d have to carry, even after you sign the waiver. Considering how much feet pics and used socks go for online, gotta think there’d be pros with referral arrangements with the studios.

They’re designed so that the shrinkee leaves the vicinity as quickly as possible once the change has taken place, exactly to reduce liability from other customers and large guardians.
However skydiving is insured, this is a similar type of insurance. Everyone is well aware of the risks.
Still, it’s very expensive. That’s why people who have this interest usually end up making at least some paid fetish content to cover the costs. If you do the math, it’s cheaper to film a video with this than the man hours that are spent learning how to make hyper-realistic CG.

I’m picturing a smartwatch that they give you that tracks the shrinking effect on your atoms over time. It starts blinking when it detects the change will be reversed soon, giving you a few minutes to get out of a small space if you need to.
