@Giganto82 He knew she would come crawling back 😏 … and she did in a very strange way I guess. 😅

@miss-lillipants said in What are your favorite types of relationships to see in size content?:

For me, the size scenario an opportunity to build trust, rapport, reliance and/or dependence, etc. between the giant and tiny. So particularly for gentler fluffy stories, it comes almost naturally.

That seems to be a very common sentiment for people who love gentle/strangers scenarios- a growing relationship that stems from the size difference itself. Which is exactly what I mean when I say I love seeing a married couple “fall in love again”. It’s like they’re thrust into a completely new relationship but still adore the person for who they are. ❤

Weirdly I’m not as much into existing couples dealing with shrinking, usually because the content I’ve seen where that is the case tends to be rather sad?

That’s something I never realized but it’s true, isn’t it? Even in my story ideas with married couples there tends to be a bit of tragedy that it focuses on. I do love the sadder stories though, they tend to really stick with me. But I need a couple dozen happy or smutty stories in between so I don’t get too upset. 😆

And I agree 100% about the endings to crueler stories. It’s something I really struggle to conclude in my own ideas. I’m fine with a cruel ending if it’s a short story, but if it’s something that is multiple chapters and I’m invested in it, it doesn’t feel like the best pay-off. Of course, it totally depends on the author’s talents as well! I definitely don’t write it off completely.

I tend to prefer a tiny victory as the ending. Where they escape or take down the giant. Gives one the opportunity to write a clever tiny which is so much fun!

@SmolChlo As I said earlier, I’m not the biggest fan of when giants treat tinies as disposable, but I make a major exception when there’s one particular tiny that is special to him. ❤ Especially when you see a big guy be all mean and scary but then he acts all dainty and careful at times. 😫 IT’S TOO CUTE.

I do hope you write a story for it in the future!

    • RE: A slightly evil scenario

@foreverlurk I love this especially for gentle content. Like obviously I want a meaner giant to have more control over the situation, but I love scenarios where they’re panicking about it together. 😅

Or the big guy realizes she’s gone and is like “oh shit did she shrink again???” and frantically starts looking under furniture and stuff. 🤣

This is the type of size content I LIVE for. The overwhelming nature of it all is what really makes this fantasy so appealing, and I always appreciate a big that shows off. 😧

Even the terms used for descriptions in English might change as the understanding grows (ie. “giant captor” --> “giant savior”)

I think the trickiest part of it all would be trying not to give away too much of what you’re thinking or feeling. Getting it just right and making those small changes like in your example can definitely add to the experience. Managing to get a tiny’s trust would probably feel so nice. 😊

My Sindarin is a bit rusty but during the solar eclipse last week, at totality my daughter turned to me and said “mornië alantië!” which made me tear up a bit (and a very proud father lol)

      LOL. That’s hilarious and adorable! ❤ ❤ ❤

@littlest-lily There’s so many creative ways you could approach communication! You’re right that it would quickly replace any dialogue.

Plus, having no idea what’s going to happen next sounds so exciting. Dialogue gives a lot away so I feel like figuring things out more slowly could be very thrilling.

    • RE: I feel like 'unaware' tends to be pretty uncommon in M/f. What is everyone's opinions on it?

@Nyx Oh yes. I’ve been going on about how much I love the shy/gentle giants of unaware situations in this thread (I think I love the contrast between his unintentional actions and his actual character).

BUT the meaner ones are also absolutely fantastic. They might find the situation hilarious, or mock you for going unnoticed. Or maybe for a moment the tiny thinks they’re finally being rescued, only to find out the worst possible person found them. 😆

@Olo That’s definitely the type of answer I was looking for in regards to why bigs might enjoy unaware, and it’s super relatable. What the giant is thinking and feeling, even when he’s not interacting with the tiny, plays a huge role in my own fantasy. Imagining those unfiltered thoughts is so exciting!

@protect-tinies I feel like that’s a fair comparison! Unaware and micro content both sorta have a niche appeal within the community. You have the people who love it, while most people are more neutral about it.

I didn’t really care for micro content UNTIL I read some really fantastic stories/saw some great art about it. While it still doesn’t come up a lot in my own fantasies, I definitely see the appeal of it now!

    • RE: Abandonment Play

@i-am-insane This actually reminds me of another kink I’ve seen. Idk if there’s an actual name for it but there’s a subreddit called /r/BorednIgnored. Basically, one person is desperately trying to get off while the other person either acts annoyed or completely ignores them. While that subreddit mostly focuses on women playing the “bored” role, the reverse definitely exists. I love the idea of applying it to a size scenario.

@foreverlurk Oh yes, tinies ready for battle are a ton of fun. Maybe the giant is amused by their attempts to fight, or is genuinely surprised by their abilities. I love the makeshift borrower-style armor myself.

Adepta Sororitas is such a beautiful army. I would be tempted to pick them solely because of their miniatures. Did you paint her at all?
