I feel like 'unaware' tends to be pretty uncommon in M/f. What is everyone's opinions on it?

@blehb honestly reminds me of a old story I read where a guy finds a small portal in his new house that connects to a tiny world free of metal and he places a spoon in it and receives precious gems in return. Basically the tiny tribe on the other end start worshipping the god portal that brings them metal the guy for his part hears the tiny cry’s of joy and decides to just toss all his cutlery into the portal. One of the female tribes men cautions them all about turning there backs on there old gods for this new one so they toss her into the portal. So you have the guy that just emptied his cutlery draw expecting more gems only to have a tiny woman pop out and he’s like ummm wtf and she’s like false idol how dare you try and steal my tribe from our gods.

No better foreplay than a theological debate.

For me the chief attraction of unaware stories is seeing the internal thoughts and feelings of a tiny woman when she’s not trying to placate or otherwise perform for a Biggo. What she really wants, fears, and desires, as opposed to what she thinks he wants to hear.

OR he doesn’t mean it and is like "well, what do you think would happen? Don’t get in the way next time

Oooh, I love this response! Where he sort of treats you like a pesky little bug. Doesn’t even have to be in a mean way, but sometimes tinies can be so exasperating!

I also like unaware fantasies being temporary. One of my favorite parts of the entire thing is the giant becoming aware. The reactions can be sooo fun!

@blehb I usually prefer temporary unawareness and I love the moment when the giant discovers a tiny person. Does he react with concern and compassion? “Oh, there’s a tiny person! Can I help you?” Or does he react with a devilish smile and then snatch them up?

That said, if I had an actual tiny woman as a pet/lover it might be fun to pretend to be unaware of her and tease her with a “Hmm, where did she go…” while sitting on her, stepping on her, stuffing her down my pants, using her as a loofa, etc all the while feeling her squirm around.

😳 As much as I love unaware, NOTHING beats a giant tease. It is the best M/f has to offer in my opinion. These are fantastic ideas.

And I totally get why it can be hard for the giant to find unaware appealing! Ultimately, the fantasy is just them acting completely normal, so you really have to be attracted to the ‘meta’ aspects of it I suppose. That’s why I’m really curious to hear from any bigs that are into it!

I don’t think you can get more submissive than unaware. For someone to fully dominate you and not even do it intentionally- you feel so tiny and insignificant! And the best part is that the giant could be the nicest person ever. The idea of being so mean to a tiny might repulse them… unfortunately, they’re just so much bigger and stronger than you that the bullying happens on accident. And I love how flustered they get upon becoming aware of things.

Why are you calling me out like this?! 😧

Seriously taps into soo many things I love all at once. Strangely I’m not even a fan of unaware because I’m craving interaction too much, but this is just perfect for a “first encounter”. Dominating her without even trying, or knowing. 😵 The idea that I could have hurt her fragile form by accident, just because of my sheer size is both scary and exciting. I can’t really be cruel or hurt tinies consciously, heck even in VR I feel guilty when I accidently send a tiny flying, I can’t imagine hurting her IRL… I would be sorry beyond words.

Oh you bet they can be little brats! It’s both annoying and endearing at the same time (“Ugh, stop doing that!” please don’t stop) 😁

@Olo That’s definitely the type of answer I was looking for in regards to why bigs might enjoy unaware, and it’s super relatable. What the giant is thinking and feeling, even when he’s not interacting with the tiny, plays a huge role in my own fantasy. Imagining those unfiltered thoughts is so exciting!

@Nyx Oh yes. I’ve been going on about how much I love the shy/gentle giants of unaware situations in this thread (I think I love the contrast between his unintentional actions and his actual character).

BUT the meaner ones are also absolutely fantastic. They might find the situation hilarious, or mock you for going unnoticed. Or maybe for a moment the tiny thinks they’re finally being rescued, only to find out the worst possible person found them. 😆

Oooh, that’s a great point! Getting introduced via an unaware encounter really establishes the dynamic for the rest of the relationship. You can’t blame the giant for not being overcautious initially, but going forward he’s probably going to constantly remember how he almost hurt his tiny. Unaware really gives gentle giants a way to push those more aggressive boundaries, without betraying their morals. 😍

And hey, brattiness is how some tinies show affection. We know we can push a big’s buttons and they’ll still be gentle and respectful in the end. It’s a symbol of how much we trust you. ❤

Sometimes a bit of discipline is healthy for both giant and tiny though…

I do enjoy a bit of temporary unaware scenarios! I get a bit bored if a story is entirely unaware, especially since it usually ends in death if that’s the case, so I always say that I’m not into unaware. But this thread is highlighting the fact that that’s not actually true - if there’s eventually a moment of discovering then I love it for all the reasons mentioned!

I also enjoy how it plays into my love of micro. The idea that I’m not hiding from him - in fact I’m doing everything I can to get his attention and he still doesn’t notice me?? So terrifying and thrilling. And being discovered in that situation, even if he clearly isn’t a cruel person, is still very scary due to the size difference.

I also like a bit of semi-awareness, if that makes sense. Not so much getting mistaken for a bug or something (that’s actually a bit of a pet peeve of mine because I feel like if she’s big enough to be seen/noticed, the shape/color of her should also be apparent enough to recognize that she’s not an insect… But I digress.) I’m more referring to scenarios where he is aware that she’s around but loses track of her somehow. Whether it’s a cat and mouse type hunt, or a silly teasing type game, or he’s legitimately worried and fretfully searching, I love those moments. Gah one of my favorite lines to hear from a giant (that could be said in all kinds of tones) is “ah, there you are” 🫠

Awww pshhhshfhffftf (sound of this giant melting from the wholesomeness) 😳 Always loved the idea that I could somehow be that worthy of her trust in spite of being able to end her anytime by accident. Definitely not a level that can be achieved overnight. Part of the reasons I always thought that first interactions with a SW (once discovered and aware of her presence) would be awkward as hell for me, in spite of my inner desires.

And discipline, well… depending on what you have in mind, that can also require a great deal of trust on both sides. But that’s another story. 😈

Micro can definitely be scary for both the SW and the giant! “Where is she!?!” and panicking at the thought that even moving to search for her could potentially be fatal. The utter relief of identifying the moving speck on the ground 😥

As for bug-sized woman being mistaken for insects, I could see it happening under some circumstances, as our brains would probably go for Occam’s Razor : it’s just a strange bug. It depends on a lot of factors, for instance if she’s wearing clothes (and what colour they are), the speed at which she’s moving, the context (ie. is she on the ground outside, or on an office desk, etc). I used to think “no way I could mistake her for a bug” but VR showed me otherwise and now I’m not so sure 😧

@littlest-lily Usually my unaware fantasies don’t stay unaware - that moment of realization is so good for me - but when they do, it normally involves cartoon levels of resilience. 😅 Typically things just end with the tiny woman getting tossed to the side, reeling from the experience while the giant goes on his merry way.

Semi-awareness!!! That’s so cute. Was hide and seek your favorite game growing up as well? I LOVED finding small places to hide and would feel so much anticipation waiting. I love those types of games in size content even now. 😆

Well of course. The giant is talking about you like you’re a missing set of keys. Being so small he can misplace you… ❤ ❤ ❤

Yes, I do think unaware stuff can be enjoyable, but if it never reaches a point where the tiny is noticed, then it’s kind of like a long extended setup without a payoff. Ideally, “temporarily unaware” scenarios can be a good way to add some variety and to get the best of both worlds (i.e. you get the benefits of giant interaction AND the benefits of the tiny being unnoticed).

Unaware content is a bit like micro content. I enjoy REALLY small sizes–a lot!–but I also recognize that they tend to limit the interaction that’s possible between a giant and a tiny, so it’s usually best if the tiny is micro-sized only temporarily and for a relatively short time. Ideally, just like with unaware stuff, micro sizes can be a good way to add some variety and to get the best of both worlds (you get the benefits of ant-sized tinies AND the benefits of finger-sized tinies).
