@Olo Yeah, I’ve seen the word “audio stories” which is perhaps more accurate here. Although I guess that could maybe also refer to something told in the 3rd person, like an actual audiobook, as opposed to more of a roleplaying type thing.

That’s something I’ve thought of before too… I actually tried to record the “ASMR” script I mentioned before and hated the process so much that I gave up on it - combination of hating to hear my own words in my own voice and feeling so awkward about “acting”. But I’ve also wondered if telling a story, perhaps still from first person but without the same level of “acting” to the microphone, might be an alternative.

@Olo Oh wow, I’d never really thought of a drawer as anything other than a way to contain a tiny! But you’re so right, especially if it’s slightly open to let in some light, that sounds sooo cozy! Damn, now I want to sleep in one… Let me just put that idea in my back pocket for potential future stories ️

As much as I adore the fantasy of being small, there’s a very big difference between fantasy and reality for me. If the technology was well established, safe, reversible, etc… Then yeah, maybe, it would be pretty neat to try it out. But I’m honestly quite content with it being a fantasy, whether it’s my imagination or VR. It’s honestly probably for the best that the technology doesn’t exist (especially after reading some of the comments in this thread!)

@Olo There are definitely pros and cons to them getting to know each other post-shrink. It does complicate things that Aiden’s essentially “one of us” and is actively trying to avoid getting excited about her size. Granted, that would have been an issue regardless of when he’d known her…

@foreverlurk So true. I used to make YouTube videos (in a different life lol) and it was very difficult to edit myself I’ve wondered before if it would help if I used some kind of voice modification software or something so it’s not quite my own voice… Maybe worth a try!

@Olo Yeah the AR aspect of this is so cool, I’d be sooo tempted to play if it didn’t give me dysmorphia! Maybe the DLC could feature a giant peering through the window and breaking through the wall 🤭

Always makes my day to hear what you guys think As much as I love the physical sides of this fantasy, the stuff that I particularly love writing is what the characters are thinking/feeling and how they communicate. It’s so much fun to play with that stuff.

@foreverlurk Oof, I’ve been there too. Before I revealed all, there would be the occasional comment on me being short, but it was usually in an apologetic way. “Oh, can you not see over that? Ah, sorry, I don’t mean to poke fun at your height.” Meanwhile I was blushing so much that I was like “oh my god act normal oh my god he’s gonna figure it out omgomgomgomg”

Oh man, I know this topic isn’t for me, but maybe you guys would have fun at theme park. If it’s on a dark ride she wouldn’t even see it coming, she just goes on the ride and is never seen getting off…
