@miss-lillipants Tricked again I’ve bought so many books and other media based on the fact that they appeared to be giant-related.

@kisupure When I saw that there were new chapters, I was very excited, and oh my god, they were fantastic. You write some of the best tension scenes in macro fiction and I find myself rereading certain parts just to savor all of the emotions. I mentioned this before but one of the things that I enjoy the most about this story is the gradual humanization of the Anakim. They go from being faceless monsters to complex beings with surprising motivations. Really good stuff!

@giant-me The merman’s not skyscraper-sized but he’s a lot larger than the woman…I’d argue that it’d fall under the mini-giant/plausible size difference category.

Characters that I’d like to see as giants include Sesshomaru from Inuyasha, Alucard from Castlevania, Lotor from Voltron and Seraphim from Blood of Zeus

I have a soft spot for villains/antiheroes

I love that it’s an inescapable act of total domination. The prey has no hope. I love mouth play because I love the moments when the tiny still wonders about escape, tries to plan a way to get out, before the giant expresses his complete superiority by triggering a swallowing reflex that’s as basic to him as breathing. @miss-lillipants I’ve given some thought as to why shrunken women tend to be more popular than male giants in the M/f community, and as a disclaimer, I’m not trying to claim that these are the only reasons or that they apply to everyone.

1. Men tend to be more active in many online size communities, and for M/f scenarios, the object of their fantasy tends to be the tiny woman. This is why you tend to see more male giants in communities with more women, like DeviantArt/Tumblr, and in gay/bisexual communities like Coiled Fist. In those communities, the object of desire is the man.
2. For some people, there is overlap between the sizechange and BDSM communities. Women who are submissive may feel more comfortable in the tiny/shrinking role. I also see this in the giantess community…male subs often like to imagine the powerlessness of shrinking. I’m technically a switch, and for me, the powerlessness of shrinking is a turn-off. The only time that I imagine myself in the non-dominant role is with a man who gains power and grows larger.
3. I’ve seen it argued that there is more intimacy when it comes to shrinking and that the normal-sized person and the shrunken person can focus more on one another. In growth, the rest of the world is often involved (which I happen to like). This intimacy may be appealing to a lot of people.

@Olo I’m the biggest hypocrite on Earth because I’d hate to be dominated if I were huge, but oh man, I’d love to be a dominatrix to a titanic man.

I lose my mind at the balcony scene when he lets go of her hand and says “that’s my girl” I’d certainly like to be his tiny girl

Howl’s Moving Castle is one of my all-time favorite movies and Howl would be a perfect giant. Despite his magic/power, he certainly has his flaws and that makes him so much more relatable.

I wanted to add: the TV version of Hannibal Lecter. Aside from Mads being an absolute babe (also, what a show), the character is an ideal candidate for a lot of fear-based size scenarios - some situations being more obvious than others. I’ve definitely drawn on him for inspiration for characters and stories.

Oh my gosh, yes. I have a weakness for villains and he is such a perfect villain, elegant and intelligent and utterly terrifying.

(Also, agree, Mads Mikkelsen is gorgeous.)

@Olo I can appreciate the character, but I’m not a fan of having to touch someone for the powers to activate (not to mention the seizure-inducing side effects). I want to be able to look at a giant and have him become my personal bodyguard.
