@TakoAlice8 Boots are definitely one of my favorite types of footwear for giants. I also like certain types of sneakers (Converses in particular) and gladiator sandals, especially in fantasy settings. I love the thought of a giant elf looming over a town and his sandals are so enormous that they tower above the tallest buildings.

@TakoAlice8 Two love-struck giants fighting over a tiny woman and potentially destroying a city in the process? I love that idea so much

@Nyx Just curious, you said you don’t like being shrunk but do you dislike being around huge furniture. Such as not being shrunk, but being in the house of a giant?
I wouldn’t mind being in the house of a giant (after all, giants need to live somewhere too). I’m more uneasy with the idea of being at the mercy of a gigantic world, where things like cats or insects could hurt me.

RE: Is height correlated to size feteshes
@TakoAlice8 said in Is height correlated to size feteshes:
Maybe in reality, it is equally common among men and women. But for some reason there are mainly reports on men having the fetish outside of the size community.
Men seem to be more vocal about their fetishes, especially online, so it perpetuates the idea that only men have macro/microphilia (which is why there’s 50 billion articles about the “giantess fetish,” which ignores the fact that women and gay men also exist). When I first discovered the size community, I was convinced that I was the only woman who liked size stuff, but luckily, that’s not the case and I’m glad to see all kinds of size communities thriving. I’m hoping that eventually we’ll see more articles about macro/microphilia which focus on more than just giantess fantasies.

@Olo This is the sort of fanart that I crave.

There’s too many to choose from but I’d have to go with Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle. They way he dotes on Sophie I know I’d feel safe as his little pet plus I’d love for him to let me explore that nifty bedroom of his
AND he’s a powerful wizard so can’t go wrong thereI lose my mind at the balcony scene when he lets go of her hand and says “that’s my girl” I’d certainly like to be his tiny girl
Howl’s Moving Castle is one of my all-time favorite movies and Howl would be a perfect giant. Despite his magic/power, he certainly has his flaws and that makes him so much more relatable.

I wanted to add: the TV version of Hannibal Lecter. Aside from Mads being an absolute babe (also, what a show), the character is an ideal candidate for a lot of fear-based size scenarios - some situations being more obvious than others. I’ve definitely drawn on him for inspiration for characters and stories.
Oh my gosh, yes. I have a weakness for villains and he is such a perfect villain, elegant and intelligent and utterly terrifying.
(Also, agree, Mads Mikkelsen is gorgeous.)

RE: Gloves
@TakoAlice8 I’m a big fan of giants who wear gloves. Gloves go well with suits, superhero/supervillain outfits, uniforms and other clothing that convey a sense of power and elegance.

RE: Which series should have had SW?
@Olo I’d love to see an episode of X-Files featuring a shrunken Scully trying to act calm and rational while Mulder rants about aliens.

It wasn’t my original intention, but it ended up being a backdoor method of playing a fairy character in D&D mwahaha
Sometimes you just have to sneak some size interaction into the game

RE: Webcomics/webtoons?
@miss-lillipants said in Webcomics/webtoons?:
I was reminded recently after reading the latest episode of Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe on Webtoons. This comic is a contemporary interpretation of the Greek gods and mythology, with a focus on the relationship between Hades and Persephone (with a non-r*pe take). A fantastic comic in general and I highly recommend it for the story, humour and art, but an added bonus is the occasional size content. This usually comes in portrayals of the titans as being many times larger than the gods, who are assumed to be human-sized (with some being able to “grow to titan size” if they are powerful enough).
I received Volume One of Lore Olympus for a birthday present and I’d highly recommend it as well. The artwork is gorgeous and I’m a big fan of Greek mythology (and mythology in general).
As for other webcomics, I’d recommend Violet Goes to the Beach. It’s sweet and wholesome and M/f.

@Olo Flashback to me pestering the DM about including giants in this campaign.
“So, uh, will there be giants?”
“Why do you keep asking me that?”

RE: Badass women in M/f scenarios
@TakoAlice8 While I do appreciate size scenarios where the tiny person is completely outmatched, I also like the idea of a feisty tiny who is able to hold her own against a giant. It’s certainly something that I’ve explored before.

RE: Is height correlated to size feteshes
@TakoAlice8 I’m 5’6" and I’m fascinated by extreme size differences, such as a giant being able to hold an entire building in his hands, so my fetish is pretty much based in fantasy. My partner is taller than me but I just wish that he was a lot larger. As in, a few hundred feet…

RE: Yandere giants
@TakoAlice8 These scenarios are one of my many guilty pleasures. I’m fascinated by the concept of toxic love in size scenarios, especially when a giant is blind to the fact that his love is actually damaging. For example, a giant leveling an entire city just to be with the woman that he likes, or a man holding his shrunken love interest in a golden pendant around his neck so that she can be always be close to his heart.

@maladaptivetiny The perspective in this drawing is incredible! I love the way that his shadow completely engulfs her.
