When the world doesn't feel big enough

Advertisements at the train station in my town. I know it’s for the new 3 Body Problem show, but the choice of words gave me a bit of a chuckle when I walked past
-
What’s a “mobility aid size self check area”? Like, can I just stand there and offer free hand rides to tinies or what?!
-
@foreverlurk ha! Didn’t even notice that!
Fyi though: it’s not shown in the picture, but there’s a diagram on the ground below the sign for people with mobility aids (scooters, etc.) to check if they are able to make a 180-degree turn within a 2070mm x 1540 mm area (i.e. for when they board the train).

@miss-lillipants Nice, I figured it was something like that, but you can’t stop my G/t-rotted brain from seeing sizey stuff 24/7.
-
@miss-lillipants Because my brain likes to go to size scenarios as well:
- That looks like a giant phone
- Imagine a giant texting that to all of the normal-sized people in the area just before he shows up
-
@Nyx The Giant Emergency Alert System.

Oh no, I’m glad I’m not walking through again right now, because this has got me all flustered
-
@miss-lillipants oh that was me texting
