What are your favorite clothing items for giants/tinies?

No answering “nothing” even if it’s true! You have to be a little creative.
Inspired by the conversation in this thread. What are your favorite clothing items in size content? I feel like it’s such a major part of it!
Mostly for giants, it’s just stuff I find attractive on any man. There’s a lot of love for pockets though, especially those hidden pockets on the inside of jackets and stuff. Seems like a cozy place to just curl up and nap. Also- kind of breaking my own rule with this one- I just love the idea of rolling up in a discarded shirt.
Naturally, doll clothes are fun to play around with for tiny women. Also anything under the “Borrower” aesthetic- an entire outfit made from little scraps and trinkets.
Do you all have any unique ideas or preferences for clothing?

My only inner pockets are on my winter coat but they are very comfy, if too warm. You could literally wear nothing at all and still be comfortable. Did I just say my favourite clothing for SW is nothing? Damn.
Okay I’ll try again : I do love makeshift clothes, like hastily done only to recover some dignity. Anything a tiny woman fashions herself from bits and pieces of tissue, plastic, grass blades, whatever. It’s incredibly cute to my eyes. The classic tissue toga is the best.

@foreverlurk Tsk tsk. This is just an excuse to get her to stay in your pocket. If it’s cold outside, without the proper clothing she won’t want to leave. I know the tricks you all play!
Though to be fair, running around with no concern for clothing does sound pretty liberating. Also no laundry? Hmmm…

We’re really that predictable, uh? Glad to see your wits didn’t shrink with the rest of ya!
While I stand that my statement that makeshift clothes melts my heart, I don’t think SW two inches tall or under should even concern themselves with clothing. They’re too tiny to be properly seen, and so small they shouldn’t venture outside or anywhere it’s too cold. Besides, I imagine any materials would feel rough and uncomfortable at that size.

@Giganto82 At first it might look like it’s aesthetics over functionality, but you put a hook or two on the back and you can easily make yourself a SW necklace or keychain.

I like feminine, flowy stuff like dresses and skirts, or makeshift clothing (the fact that makeshift clothing often resembles a dress anyway doesn’t hurt). Makeshift clothing can add to the cuteness factor, and it also emphasizes the fact that the tiny is living in an alien world that’s not made for her.
Some people say tinies should wear “practical” clothing, like combat boots and cargo pants, because life as a tiny can be demanding. Personally, the more practical and utilitarian the clothing is, the less interesting it is to me. Tiny women are better when they don’t look like Navy SEALs.
I’m not really a fan of doll clothes (unless they look exactly like regular clothes)…only because the more the tiny resembles a toy that a child would play with, the more it reminds me of “kiddie content.” If I’m envisioning a romantic or sexual scenario involving a tiny woman, I don’t want to be thinking about ANYTHING child-related or child-adjacent…for obvious reasons.
That just feels uncomfortable. -
For giant’s clothing, I favor two items that I myself wear frequently in real life: briefs and shirts with breast pockets. Tinies were made for containment.
I agree that doll’s clothes for tinies is generally more humiliating than being nekkid, so if that’s the goal we’re going shopping. Makeshift is usually delightful, particularly if it’s a skill she’s had to learn recently.
As a rule, I prefer anything that makes her more dependent on me.

Probably bc I’m currently at work but I really enjoy the cold corporate look. I admire the classy business suits and look forward to the constant clicking of freshly shined shoes. I like to imagine myself shrinking down on my way to a meeting and a pair of those powerful shoes suddenly stopping right in front of me.
As for myself I prefer a pair of sturdy boots with maybe jeans or cargo pants. Crop tops are a must

I love playing dress up with tiny girls so the real answer is EVERYTHING, hahaha. But my very favorites are frilly girly pink doll dresses, 1960s styles with miniskirts and gogo boots (too much Star Trek and Land of the Giants imprinted itself on me), cute little catgirl outfits with a collar, and tight fitting aerobics clothing. Of course it’s also fun to have them wake up in a plain white leotard labelled SPECIMEN#7 and see how they react upon seeing themselves in the mirror. The possibilities are endless!
