Is there anyone on this site who is still active?

@GiantAss I popped in and dropped a few stories a couple of weeks ago to see if I could get some spark going. It seems every few days someone else will post something. But I’d say generally no. I’m not really sure if there is an active space anymore.
The only thing I can guess is that most of the SW community is in private Discords now. There are a few people who post some amazing content images and videos on DeviantArt (if you don’t mind AI stuff) but even with a high follower count there’s no real interaction/community.
The last time I saw any real spark was when Littlest-Lily was posting Out of their Element back in 2023 on DA. She’d get 10-20 comments per post and people really talked about the story. There were some other writers around that time too that all seemed to be getting interest especially from women.
There was a burst of romantic material around that time centered more on Giant men, per se, than Shrinking Women. At least that’s what it seemed like to me.

Around? Sure. Active… not so much. We’re missing that critical mass of people talking to keep discussion of any form going past a day or two.

@i-am-insane I’m here everyday but i’m not an SW/tiny/micro. and there’s a lack of threads that I could like actually respond too in a fashion whereby it’d make any sense.

From my perspective and understanding I feel everyone circles have gotten smaller and smaller with the rise of AI basicly anyone can get there fix also the rise of tribalism over the globe in recent years I feel is separating more and more people. Plus you have artists and writers now finding ways to self publish or share there artwork in places that pay so they feel less insentavised to share it for free. That and I also feel people lately are less likely to stray outside the guide lines as they feel they could be harmed socially or professionally as a statement I’ve heard on the rise in Australia lately “fit in or fuck off” as anything that dosent fit the norm is instantly to be feared and shunned. Having said that the people I generally find saying shit like that are also screaming that free speech is being impacted because when they act like a cunt and they face consequences they scream that they are being targeted.

To answer the original question: around, but not really active, as @i-am-insane said.
DD is pretty niche despite having, what is frankly, a pretty broad scope of what type of size content it allows. This is not a criticism; in fact, it is why I personally prefer to come here for my M/f needs, because I don’t need to browse through countless posts that don’t appeal to me. Or have posts being buried under said posts and not getting to the audience I wanted to share with. Unfortunately, that does also mean fewer (active) users and relatively less and regular activity than the larger sites.
In saying that, I think activity levels also come in waves. I, as well as others, were regularly posting/sharing things on here about a year(?) ago, but (and I don’t want to speak on behalf of everyone) we slowed, in part, because we had other things going on in our personal lives. It’s very hard for a relatively small group of regulars to keep that momentum up as we dropped off, one by one.
So…at the risk of sounding very obvious: I encourage you (universal “you”) to 1) post; 2) keep posting; and 3) don’t be discouraged if you don’t get the hits you want. Building up takes time.
