Doll Houses
-
Out of curiosity, how many people here like the idea of either keeping a small woman in a dollhouse(whether to trap her or keep her somewhere comfortable), or be the tiny woman inside of said doll house?
I just think of this constantly and how I myself would love to have an enormous decked out doll house to be kept in. A phone as a TV, a bed made out of memory foam, and maybe even working plumbing. I would also love to have doll clothes even if they were too big for me.
I would love to be small and kept in one either as a place to keep me locked up, or as a way to make me comfortable. Or both lol Just laid down on the bed before being shut up in the house for the night sounds fun to me too.
Okay, rambling done. Enjoy your day!

@emilythetigercat oh that’s my thing, keeping a cute tiny girl, and be able to peek at any moment I want or grab her at my leisure

@emilythetigercat This corresponds exactly to my fantasy. I like to imagine myself walking past a woman on the street. If I like her, I shrink her and quickly put her in my tight pants pocket so that her little body rubs against my balls. Then when I’m at home with me, I take her to her “room”. There is then a dollhouse, which has exactly the right size for them. I will then order her to get rid of her shrunken clothes and put on the maid clothes of a Barbie. If she refuses, she will be punished, but if she is obedient, she will be rewarded. I would put my cell phone down for her, but without a sim card. Not that she gets the wrong ideas. She can then use it to stream series or movies. And when I have time for her, I will play with her. That’s what sweet little girls are for, isn’t it?

Any dollhouse I might own would be a single-story and have a hinged-roof. You can’t hide from me.

Ok so we are designing our dream doll house mine would have many rooms less of a traditional dollhouse and more a series of rooms set into a book shelf style set up. Some with access to other rooms others that are contained certain rooms could be removed for transporting others would have a single purpose. My dolls could be rewarded for good behaviour by getting better rooms or punished by being moved to lesser rooms or even room where they could be bound. I say dolls because just like Pringles once you pop you just can’t stop plus some dolls might only want to spend time with the other dolls so for those I get a show.

has put stupid amounts of time into this line of thought
For me, the ideal SW dollhouse is designed around the comfort of the woman inside… but the ease of access of the man who owns it.
It has all the amenities: water, lights, a bed that’s actully fabric and not plastic, but… there’s no doors, anywhere. There are window, but they don’t open, and are made of tough plastic or whatnot that can’t be broken by such little hands. Once you’re inside the dollhouse, you don’t get to leave without the owner’s permission.
At least one wall, if not the whole thing, is effectively a one way mirror (…somehow), allowing the woman(or women) inside the illusion of privacy, that all they have to do is dodge the windows and the skylight and whatnot and they will be hidden… when they really, really aren’t.
And, of course, the fact it opens: the entire thing is designed with a removable roof and with each wall being on a hinge, to allow for those outside it to easier reach those within.

I’ve always thought it would depend on WHO I had as my doll lady.
I’ve known so many over the years that would love to live in a dollhouse, cages, shoeboxes, and such. So I would play off what I think fits that little one.

I may have thought about this a few
thousandtimes before.
I’ve got the perfect dollhouse pictured in my head. It would be a 3 story Victorian dollhouse. An well taken care of antique that was handmade. Each of the walls would pull away, revealing the room inside.This is the closest I was able to find to what it would look like:

@nataliethetiny Isn’t that where the shrunken Halliwell sisters got housed?
-
@Olo
Apparently they ended up in a dollhouse version of their own house:

@nataliethetiny That’s what I was thinking of.

Oh, and while it isn’t a Dollhouse, one of my best fantasy dwellings would be a nice terrarium. Add some plants, and sand, and water to make a little beach. All it needs is a sunlamp and I can have a tropical vacation in the middle of the winter!
