Inhuman giants
-
What’s everyone’s opinions on these? I know generally we prefer human or basiclly-human giants and/or tinies, but what about things that don’t fall in that typical slot? Giant robots, dragons, and the like?
All this talk of giants recently has reminded me of one of my older ideas; a living ship a stranded woman gets trapped inside, with the two of them trying to negotiate with each other for their various goals. It has a lot of the typical power dynamics, and there’s plenty of ways for interaction to happen, but I’m not sure what people would think about something so… unstandard.

@i-am-insane It’s definitely a thing.

@i-am-insane I think I understand what you mean. Though, my favorite type of inhuman giant is a bit different from yours. Sometimes I like to imagine what it would be like to be handled by a giant male snake…

@i-am-insane I think there’s a book series about that my mom liked to read. The idea of living ships that could talk to their crews, one was used as a slaving ship and went insane from hearing the suffering going on inside of him. For the life of me, I can’t remember what it was called.
But I know that inhuman giants are a thing people like, but mostly furry stuff from what I’ve seen. Been kinda thinking about doing a DBZ story about a troop of Ozaru wreaking havoc on a world. It would be very lewd~!

@i-am-insane monster fucker here! there are a lot of furries and scalies who are also into macro. Thanks to Godzilla and Jurassic Park warping my brain, I can be into scalies this way, though I don’t care for furries. Scalies, dragons, and demons, preferably 2 legged, but 4 legged dragons get a pass for me since they’re written as more intelligent and completely sentient in the stories I read a lot with them (D&D). The monster character just has to have human or above intelligence & the ability to communicate, for me to be into it. I also love robots, so I can appreciate a giant robot story.
I don’t go down this route with my writing because it’s SO niche. But lots of us like a variety of giants!

@i-am-insane If @Kisupure ever visits again, they’ll have lots to say about this.

@i-am-insane I appreciate giant monster dudes.

@i-am-insane So the 800-ton gorilla here is obviously King Kong. The OG kaiju, Kong is such a dominant “horny giant” archetype that most subsequent romances between giants (of any species) and little ladies have made references to him (even when it’s gender-flipped). Kong’s story is also “Beauty and the Beast” updated for the 20th century (mass media was just starting to transform the nature of celebrity). I’m not at all surprised to see M/f fans appreciating Kong and extrapolating that to other big beasties.
On the subject of sentient vehicles, I wholly recommend Saturn’s Children by Charles Stross. The backstory is quite fascinating, but the main element to grasp is that humanity has died out (no great catastrophe, we just stopped breeding (I blame really good VR porn)) and the solar system is populated by the sentient robots we left behind. The protagonist needs to make an interplanetary trip, and the transporting ship offers to have sexual intercourse with the passenger for the duration of the voyage. (Reader, the offer was accepted.)
In Iain M. Banks’s Culture series, all spaceships are controlled by sentient AIs (“Minds”) and often have the capacity entertain human passengers in various ways, from operating android avatars to immersing the passengers in virtual reality, all of which could possibly involve sexual interaction.

One common thread I have long noted between furries and size kinksters (“sizies”?) is the escapism/liberation offered by being either a different species or a different size. You get to behave or experience the world in a way that is simply impossible in your real body. I’m sure it’s reductive to say that furries all want an excuse to act bestially, but from what I can tell the development of one’s fursona usually involves establishing character traits that one finds difficult or impossible to express in their mundane existence. I expect any size perv can relate to that.

Yeah, I’ve read that, though it’s been awhile; it’s a sequel series, and called the Liveship Traders, if you believe the internet. Part of the reason I brought this up is living ships are common enough, but the idea of ‘ships as equals’ aren’t often explored to the full extent, with how much control a ship could have over it’s occupants, which is very size-y to me.Hmm. Well, this all seemed more accepted than I thought. Does anyone know how some GTS fetish artists draw dragons? As giant women, but with claws, fangs, and scale bikinis? I’ve always thought about flipping that them with a dragon guy instead, and then applying some classic stuff with princesses or female knights or whatever with them.

I’m quite sure there’s that kind of stuff out there, and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the users here have examples in their personal collections. The imagery I’m familiar with has both the macro characters and the micro characters as fursonas of some kind.
Wait a minute! I do have something for Skyrim fans:

When I’m in the mood to get eaten, I picture being a handsome Dragons little snack lol

@Olo this is literally purrrfect

@SmolChlo while we’re on the topic of M/f dragon pron, there’s a short story on Kindle about a male dragon and his girlfriend. No vore but plenty of sweet erotic scenes.
Here’s the link:

@i-am-insane I’ve always wanted to write a story like that, but I always back down at the last moment for some reason.
I think I’ll go do that now.
