@i-am-insane I love that music video too!!! I remember seeing a parody where at the end they all get eaten. But this was over a decade ago.

RE: Watching Others Watch Size
@foreverlurk Arrietty is a fun movie to show people. The animation is beautiful and so creative! Definitely a movie to turn your brain off to, but I love seeing reactions to it.

gi-curious commentary
Lol
I remember when the movie Downsizing was about to come out, I was all excited to see how normies would process it. Then it flopped and I was glad everyone quickly forgot about it.
This movie is actually very interesting to me because (and correct me if I’m wrong because I haven’t personally seen it, so I don’t know how true these criticisms are) it seemed like a lot of people were disappointed the movie strayed away from further world-building. Like they were excited to see these special effects and quirks and stuff but then the movie just took a totally different turn.

RE: Watching Others Watch Size
I’m glad the post resonated with someone else! I was worried I sounded gross or like I was trying to project my own kinks onto other people. I really am just fascinated by how people might respond to it. I would like to tell a partner one day, so I guess that’s the source of that concern?
I know there have been a few size-related scenes in a lot of shows or movies recently. I don’t really use social media anymore, but I imagine people’s responses to it would be super interesting. Of course, it all depends on how the content is depicted in the first place.

RE: Go-to sizey daydream?
@i-am-insane Oh yes for sure! I definitely think there are ways to make this type of content more palatable to people who don’t fetishize it (I mean, all of human history we’ve had stories, religions, and art featuring giants or tiny people). It could even be a way for someone to find out they enjoy the more passionate side of it.
But I do want to clarify about my response that I’m not trying to convince people to like size content, if that makes sense? Like I DEFINITELY would never pressure someone about it. But sometimes you’ll hear like a celebrity say something or someone IRL will do something that makes you wonder what kind of giant or tiny they would make.

RE: Go-to sizey daydream?
Typically I just daydream about stories I want to write, but sometimes I’ll have the most random thoughts as I go through my day. They seem pretty typical for this community though, so here’s a weirder one I’m wondering if any of you can relate to: I love imagining peoples reactions to size content. Good or bad, I’m just fascinated by people’s thoughts on it (beyond the “wow how strange!” part). Like how into it would they be? What role would they want to play? How would they feel towards someone who was really into it?
And I don’t mean this in a way where I’m trying to project my own fantasies onto them, or hope they’re going to love it as much as I do. It is just a genuine fascination. I don’t have the guts to bring it up to anyone though.

RE: zHEIGHTgeist
It’s interesting that the episode draws so many connections between unaware and non-consensual scenarios. I suppose it makes sense based on how it relates to body exploration and other themes, but I personally prefer situations where nobody was intentionally overstepping their bounds- the unaware situation just sort of unfolds at the misfortune of the giant and tiny. Aborigen does briefly address this, I just think it’s fascinating how different our perspectives on these things can be.
I loved the connection between a giant stomping through a city and a shrinking unaware scenario. I’m not so much into giants as much as I am shrinking, so that really helped me further understand the appeal.
Excellent job representing the M/f side of things @Olo You did great!

RE: Whaf if? Season 2 Episode 2 : Bill Foster (Goliath) becomes gigantic to save young Wendy Lawson from falling.
I’m not a Marvel person so I don’t know who any of these characters are, but what a fun little interaction. The animation is great for the movements, and the voice acting makes their interaction so charming.

RE: What small details really elevate size content for you?
@foreverlurk If the giant is also anxious (or has any vulnerabilities at all), even better! A wholesome and mutually beneficial relationship is far more interesting than the development being onesided.
Even all-powerful, “infallible” giants need their flaws. Arrogance, a lack of empathy, impatience, etc. There’s also something fascinating about seeing that exterior fall apart.

Casualness. There’s something so lovely about a couple reaching a level of comfort with each other so that their interactions become incredibly casual. She’s climbing all over him as he goes about his business, he idly picks her up without really needing to look, and likewise she hardly bats an eye when she’s plucked up into his hand or dumped into his pocket.
YES. This is so much fun. And when they do encounter a new size-related obstacle it makes it so much more refreshing and interesting.
I also like dialogue-heavy stories. Makes the characters seem more human.

Giant eyes peering through a window, the pupils constricting at the sight of the smaller person.
Oh wow. Any predator-like description really triggers the animal part of my brain.
This goes for growling, drooling, having to pause to gain control of themselves… I’m so depraved.

RE: What small details really elevate size content for you?
@foreverlurk Visual, written, etc. Whatever you want to discuss! My mind tends to go to writing because that’s my favorite medium for size, but I’m fascinated with what other people find attractive about this content.
I agree with all of this but the reverse lol. Imagining the heartbeat, tiny twitches, or breathing patterns of a giant. Burying yourself in clothes with their scent. Annoying the shit out of them…
My favorite concept to explore in M/f as far as mental states goes is anxiety, maybe because I’ve always had issues with it myself. Typically shrinking could be seen as a negative representation of feeling anxious, or being placed in an intimidating situation. But I love the idea of reversing that trope and the tiny finding a way to overcome not only that situation, but also their typical irrational fears.
Having a giant to protect and comfort you also helps with those feelings as well.

What small details really elevate size content for you?
I’m not talking about the popular tags or subject matters that we’re all familiar with, but the really minor details that bring this kink to the next level for you.
For me it’s:
-
Facial expressions. I wanna know what the giant and even the tiny is feeling without being told what they’re feeling. Glaring down at you when they’re mad, an unhinged smile, letting that dominant mask slip when they get turned on…
-
Playfulness. I wanna be a toy and toys are meant to be played with.
-
Clothing descriptions. I like when people have fun with this. Of course we have the shirt pockets which are a SW staple, but I feel like we are really neglecting other options! Like the little pockets inside of a suit or jacket??? Imagine poking your head out and getting a face full of chest. Plus it probably smells so nice in there. Criminally underrated content if you ask me!

I’m imagining a tiny mermaid sleeping in a shell. Like a shrimp mermaid.

RE: Fisting His Cock
@littlest-lily Oh my goodness. I totally forgot this scene existed, but just watching it triggered my memory. Must have made an impression on me for such a minor line.
