@SmolChlo For some reason your post reminded me of the character in the Tinkerbell movies whose glasses are giant water drops.

Really, I get hung up on little details way too much, it gets in the way of me even trying to write, because then I’m like, “But how does this work???” and focusing on a ‘realistic’ setup for somethign blatently unrealistic.
I am the same way. I dwell too much on the details and fail to make a single cohesive story, and at some point give up on writing anything at all!
I mean, I had fun imagining it, but I want to share content too!

@Olo Unfortunately nearsighted women like Rebecca and I will just have to Velma Dinkley our way through a giant world.
(Great story btw. I hope you continue it!)

@Olo Oooh I somehow missed that story of yours. Will definitely be checking it out!!!
I know @littlest-lily writes about the clothing issue a lot in her stories (I actually had her in mind making this post because she puts a lot of effort into writing about these kinds of details). I think one of her stories also dealt with your first point, though I might be mistaken.
Love that post about giant inconveniences. I don’t really know how to explain this properly, but I always liked content where the giant has a preestablished purpose in the story. Maybe giants naturally exist in the world, or maybe they’re a supersolider made by the government or something. That way their needs are already taken care of and I don’t have to spend the story wondering where the giant eats, sleeps, and shits.
Not that there’s anything wrong with not providing that background in a story! People should write what they want to write- after all, this is a fantasy we’re all indulging in. My mind just works in strange ways. Lol.

Lesser Known Inconveniences of Being Giant/Tiny
Of course anyone in this community is aware of the larger obstacles that come with size change, whether it’s being tiny and everything is out of reach, or being giant trying not to crush your surroundings. But what are some of the lesser known inconveniences people don’t tend to think of? For me personally:
-
No tiny contacts/glasses. Assuming my contacts wouldn’t shrink with me, I would have literal mole vision. Especially considering EVERYTHING would be far away, the entire world would just be blurry.
-
Piercings. Again, assuming clothes don’t shrink as well this could definitely be an issue. I better hope it’s a slow shrink so I have time to remove them or else things are going to be painful!
-
No toiletries! You would definitely have to get creative with this one, at least until they start making tiny toothbrushes/deodorants/brushes/makeup/etc.
Just a silly discussion that I thought would be fun for brainstorming. Especially with offering each other solutions to the problems shared.

@Olo Going from one end of this spectrum to the other is a big part of the fun too. I prefer scenarios where the giant eventually becomes aware of the situation, as their reaction is very exciting to me. Maybe it awakens something in them and they adopt that crueler personality, or maybe they’re on the gentler side and do everything in their power to comfort the little lady. Sort of in the same vein as BDSM aftercare.

@SmolChlo I always think about this stuff when I’m trying to go to bed. It really puts me at ease and helps me fall asleep, though it’s not great for brainstorming.

@Olo said in zHEIGHTgeist:
One attraction of being tiny in an unaware scenario is experiencing peril or abuse from someone who doesn’t intend it, so you can’t blame them or think ill of them afterward.
As a big fan of unaware scenarios, that’s a fantastic explanation of why they’re appealing. I love cruel and I love gentle, but a gentle guy being cruel (even unintentionally) is chef’s kiss.
Although there is a tinge of guilt associated with that fantasy, since it is imagining someone in a situation they don’t particularly want to be in, regardless if they’re in the more dominant role or not.
As for your other point, I feel like the next two episodes may zero in on the microphilia aspect of size kink. Aborigen really took time to clarify in the introduction episode that the kink goes beyond men fetishizing giantesses, and since the last two episodes had macrophilia in the title it seems to be an intentional focus on that half of the fantasy. At least I hope that’s the case!

RE: zHEIGHTgeist
@SmolChlo The sensory overload point is very interesting. In real life I feel that I get more easily overwhelmed than the average person, especially when it comes to overstimulating environments (not that everybody loves those, but I definitely don’t have the best tolerance for them).
And yet sizey stuff is all about being overwhelmed. While I definitely think that feeling of connection and safety plays a huge role in my fantasy, I think there may be a touch of masochism there as well.

RE: The space between SFW and NSFW
I feel silly for my initial post, as I’m just now realizing there are already tags for SFW/NSFW. So I don’t think adding additional ones will do us much good.
Maybe our best solution is to simply make more of the content we want to see? I plan on creating my own stuff eventually (though I do like a good mix of SFW/NSFW), but even just starting discussions about pure fluff sounds kind of nice in my opinion! I have a bunch of size-related craft videos I’ve watched that I think a lot of people here would enjoy.

RE: The space between SFW and NSFW
I totally get where you’re coming from! In fact, the NSFW stuff doesn’t really work for me on it’s own. Like I can definitely enjoy the content, but a good narrative is REALLY what I look for. Doesn’t matter if it’s gentle or cruel, I want that plot and development. Kind of a complicated kink I suppose.
If we were to classify things differently, maybe instead of different boards we can add additional tags that clarify the “type” of story it is? Like Romance vs Erotica vs Smut? Gives people an idea of how steamy the content is.

@Olo And he looks very dashing in it, which is all the reason he needs to be honest.
