100%. A lot of this discussion relies on generalizations, but it’s important to keep in mind the entire community isn’t like this. And as @Nyx pointed out, there’s a lot of female-dominated fandoms online as well, and as someone who has been very casually involved with some, they can get EXTREMELY toxic as well.

@Olo Hmmm, no particular preference tbh. I think uncut plays better into size stuff though.

@littlest-lily Is liking a pretty ween an option? I mean, I wouldnt want to hang a picture of it on my wall, but an aesthetically pleasing one is always appreciated. As for size, average is totally fine with me as well. Quality over quantity I suppose.

Absolutely! I never mentionned it beause I don’t want to sound like I’m wallowing up in self-pity, but it’s likely the main reason I’ve never told any women I cared about. Not self-pitying at all. I think discussing these pressures everyone feels is very healthy, and some weird assholes shouldn’t stop the rest of us from having fun!

Anything kink-related is going to be such a mixed bag of bullshit lol. Within the community, I feel like it’s so male-dominated, so it can be difficult creating female-oriented content. We’ve seen a lot of creators on here get questioned about their tastes or pressured into making giantess stuff, to the point where women practically don’t exist in the kink.

On the other hand, it’s probably a lot more uncomfortable for men to come forward about this stuff in real life (at least in cases like you, where you seem to be very considerate about how your partner will feel about it/react).

In the end, none of us win.

And of course, this is overlooking any size-fans who aren’t straight or cisgender. I can’t speak from experience, but I’m sure that comes with its own unique issues.

@giantmaneddie That’s fair! The giantess community definitely makes themselves more well-known than ours does, and having a larger and niche fanbase would naturally attract less “sociable” people, to say the least.

My previous post was definitely a focus on how this plays out in intimate situations as opposed to general entertainment. Which kind of gives me another thread idea.

@protect-tinies As frustrating as the lack of M/f content can be, I am thankful for the fact that it seems to be more accepted by the general population than giantess stuff. Of course, neither of these are prevalent enough to get an accurate understanding of how people feel about it, but from my personal experience people seem much more okay with M/f than F/m.

I’ve told two guys about my interest in this, and while they did think it was unusual they also said they found it to be adorable. Maybe I’m just lucky with my sample size, but it seems to be a much more accepting reaction than the endless articles talking about “how weird giantess fetish is!”

Maybe it has to do with the fact that I like shrinking, which people might see as harmless since it is more intimate and less destructive than growth. Or maybe because I’m a woman, and I feel like women with strange kinks are seen as less creepy than men are. (Not that that’s fair, just seems to be the bias people have.) I do think you have a good point about it connecting to the more typical preferences people have- men are more likely prefer the dominant role and women the submissive one.

I do feel for giantess-fans though. There is a lot of pressure for men to fit this mold of masculinity, and trying to seek safety and comfort from a woman is typically frowned upon. Which connects to size kink obviously.

@giantmaneddie I can accept magic, shrink rays, mythological creatures, giant mechs, etc. but I demand an explanation about these very mundane details!

@littlest-lily I also think about those portable washing machines or countertop dishwashers that hook up directly to the sink. Probably not a great idea for the toilet, but a shower? Again, may be more trouble than it’s worth.

Really, I get hung up on little details way too much, it gets in the way of me even trying to write, because then I’m like, “But how does this work???” and focusing on a ‘realistic’ setup for somethign blatently unrealistic.

I am the same way. I dwell too much on the details and fail to make a single cohesive story, and at some point give up on writing anything at all!

I mean, I had fun imagining it, but I want to share content too!
