@skysayl The 2003 live-action version had Ludivine Sagnier as Tinkerbell. You have no idea how that messed with my brain. I had seen her other movie, Ozon’s excellent Gouttes d’eau sur pierres brûlantes before that.
I love French SW (not nearly enough out there). So let’s just say I had conflicting images in my mind when watching tiny Ludivine.

@SmolChlo I can’t talk from the SW’s perspective but from my side of things it’s almost like a dream come true, at least that’s very close to some things I imagined for years. Seeing it in VR is mind-blowing the first time, and still is honestly.
If you look at static pictures it probably won’t help you get a feel of how cool it can be, but I know you can also play on desktop in good old 2D to get a preview of what it looks like.
From the SW’s perspective, I can’t help you… I can’t stand being small, not even in VR.

@BryTheGuy I used to play this a lot with friends from launch, don’t remember this tonic? My main was a Norn and in our group there was tiny Asura, so quite a large size difference.

To further answer your question, some people like to use furry avatars, others like semi-human beasts, some like plain old humanoid avatars. Custom avi are a lot of work but I’ve seen incredibly talented people create stuff like dragonborns or almost actual dragons, giant snakes, etc. No limits really. I chose to get a plain looking avatar but I’m thinking of getting a good looking one commissioned at some point.
There are rooms which are purely for hanging out, chat, listen to music, watching videos/movies, etc. There are some worlds with fun little quests/puzzles and interactions. Outside of VRChat there are also other virtual worlds but none as popular right now. Also since VRC added avatar scaling (ie. shrinking/growing) it has become very easy to create sizey worlds with that in mind. They added stuff like collision so that we can hold tinies without them “falling” through giant hands or bodies. They added climbing too, so that tinies can “explore” giants. Oh and while the soundscape isn’t exploited to all its sizey potential IMHO, the spatial 3D audio is delightful… having a SW moving around my head from one shoulder to the other sent ASMR-like tingles to my brain 
The only thing is that in VRC, the most advanced worlds (those with proper physics) require the use of a PC. The PC will use its GPU and CPU to render the world, basically streaming the info to your headset. Otherwise you can still access some sizey worlds in “standalone” / Quest mode (ie. with the headset alone), but it’s a bit more limited.
Alsoooo, I’ve heard it can be quite jarring at first to be picked up when tiny, hehe… I’ve literaly heard (‘squeeeee’) it, I mean

Some theories, such as String Theory, allows in its framework the existence of multiple universes. Each universe would have its own set of physical laws and constants, which could be vastly different from ours.

How did you discover this fetish?
Depends on what you mean by “fetish”. If you mean “When did you discover this was (also) a sexual thing for you?”, then it was at the onset of puberty for me, so around 12 or 13 years old, when I started having sexual fantasies and started using SW daydreams while masturbating (confusing times w/ all the guilt and shame of post-nut clarity, but with added wtf due to tiny girls thoughts ). If your question was more “When did you discover this fantasy?”, for me it was basically always there. I can’t remember a time before, it’s just how I was wired.
How did it manifest?
When I was 5 or 6, the first shrinking scenes in the cartoons I watched at the time, I think it was Alice shrinking in an anime? When I was a teenager, around 16 and had my first sexual relations, I discovered that even during sex I needed these thoughts to go all the way. That was almost always the case, I can have sex without sizey thoughts but my kink makes it hard to really enjoy it otherwise. So I just imagined she was shrinking on my dick or things like that. Again, I always felt some shame and guilt after it for not being able to just enjoy reality as-is, as if I didn’t respect my partner somehow.
What’s the appeal to it?
I have two wolves inside. The cozy, wholesome side is mostly about caring for, and protecting a woman hundreds of times smaller than I am. Between 3 to 6 inches, even smaller.
