RE: Let Me Get This Straightposted in Size Fantasy Chat
@Olo said in Let Me Get This Straight:
The neglect of what has been called the “ecology” of giants is a major obstacle to me enjoying a lot of true giant|ess smut.
I’m also glad to see others notice the difference is demands/expectations for logistics between SW/GT and SM/GTS content. I totally understand and appreciate wanting to rationalise an improbable thing into reality - magic, science (known or unknown), aliens, etc. People are so creative and amazing with what they know, but sometimes I just think, “why is this important?” Sometimes I just want to enjoy a giant for the sake of him being a giant - the practical side of being a giant in a world that probably can’t support him is interesting, but sometimes not crucial. At the risk of sounding dismissive, it is a fantasy after all.
In the end, the giant man is my object, and what he does is what I wish for him to do, and what I wish to witness - just as giantesses, despite their position of power, are the object of someone else’s (mostly men’s) desire. I think a lot of straight men find being literal giants hard to reconcile because of how so many fantasies are tailored them - they don’t need an excuse to put women into positions, but when those tables turn and men become the focus of someone else’s fantasy, it’s got to work for them, which centres them again (even if it’s got nothing to do with them). There are exceptions of course, and the beauty of fetishes is how varied and diverse they are.
Your original post was cute and funny
but it really does reflect the push-back I’ve read from guys who are clearly very resistant to the idea. In saying that, I go back to my initial response being:Yeah, nice try convincing us that any of that bothers you at all

RE: When the world doesn't feel big enoughposted in Size Life Chat
@foreverlurk ha!
Didn’t even notice that!Fyi though: it’s not shown in the picture, but there’s a diagram on the ground below the sign for people with mobility aids (scooters, etc.) to check if they are able to make a 180-degree turn within a 2070mm x 1540 mm area (i.e. for when they board the train).

RE: Size references and resourcesposted in Artwork
@Olo it is very cool! And mostly free (some purchases if you want extra assets).
Another advantage for me is it lets me easily visualise the scale of the subjects at different levels or against different parts of the body. For example, a tiny might not seem so tiny when in the hand, but it’s different if they’re on the ground next to a foot. Or even if placed on the shoulder. Thanks to that, I’ve been able to settle on a single preferred ratio for my fantasies, rather than keep questioning whether someone is too big or too small.
And on the topic of being swallowed whole, the app’s also helped in realising whether the tiny is too big (or the giant too small, whichever way it may be).
Otherwise, I’d been relying on articulated artist’s models for a long time - more recently, I found a 4" one that’s been amaaaazing and I love her.

@Olo I actually love a good shoulder ride - makes for some great snuggles into the neck or collar. But when discretion is necessary, I’m also on Team Chest Pocket, internal breast pockets included.

RE: About trigger warnings on suggestive g/t imagesposted in Size Life Chat
I’m also for appropriate tagging on content.
You mention DA and I assume you also mean to make this a general statement about posting images on any platform including this forum. Because I do have a question (probably to the admins) about tags and how/if they are working on here:
I tend to access the forum on my phone and I find that tags don’t seem to work? Or they don’t show up anywhere noticeable. I checked some of my own posts, which I know for certain are tagged using those on the list, and they’re not visible. Hence why I put some tags in the title (without trying to bloat it). Also, pretty sure there’s a mandatory minimum of like 3 tags before anything can be posted.
Can someone confirm if it’s a different case when on a computer? Or if tags serve a different function other than a label (e.g. are used specifically/only for filtering content)?

RE: Foundposted in Artwork
@littlest-lily I can tell you that there is no particular story behind this one. Whose size has been altered? Do they know each other? Will she be safe, or is he a dick? I’ll leave those up to you

I’ve created a DA account to make it easier to follow people (yourself included), but it’s empty atm. Side from some newer drawings, when I’ve got some time I’d also like to re-upload some of my older work from my previous DA and Tumblr accounts

I ended up shamelessly writing several stories about armored giants, including one about a daimyo and another about a man who’s turned into a living weapon. I’ll probably keep shamelessly writing them.
And I will happily indulge reading them!
You’re right about the power and elegance, and what better a look on a being who inherently exudes it?
And then to demonstrate on a tiny army - stop, my heart. -

As much as I enjoy D&D (thankfully I’m in a life stage where I’m not playing video games much because I’m already fascinated by BG3 despite not actually playing myself), it’s rare that I think about that kind of medieval fantasy type setting in my size fantasies. But some of what you just listed is making me reconsider

Medieval fantasy settings are one of my go-tos, but it helps to have something on hand to help with visualising, references, inspiration, etc. I normally make a bit of time for a liiiiittle bit of gaming here and there, but BG3 is such a time sink. Damn their beautiful character models!

RE: Extraordinary season 2 trailerposted in Other Media
For fellow Australians, it’s also on Disney+ but…you know, the Australian one.
I unintentionally binge-watched the first season last night (only 8 eps), it’s a good show!

Thank you @Nyx! I’d like to play around with them some more so I hope I can keep up the creative flow (also, any excuse to make literal playgrounds of gorgeous bods~ )

Yesssss! This one is really cute. The first part is my favourite since she describes things from her new perspective
