@SizePrize69 I define femgaze as having women be the storytellers, rather than the women in the story being, well, a spectacle. I think it really is simple as that. A lot of giantess stories for example write the woman as more of an NPC. She had no life nor purpose prior to growing into a giantess, but now her singular purpose in life is to be big and sexy and flaunt it in your face.

I like the woman having agency, I like learning about who she is first and how the change she undergoes affects her life. I like when the giant man has a purpose as well, and I like knowing how he feels about the situation- especially if he’s the one causing it.

I like this complexity because when the naughty bits do come into play, knowing how they feel about one another sets the entire tone. A man handling his little lady with care and affection is an entirely different mood and presses totally different buttons than a man having his way with her because he’s horny and doesn’t care one bit for her safety (which, I’ll add, is also sexy but the point is the distinction matters!)

Normally destructive giants aren’t my thing- but oh man. Something about the way their destruction and attempts not to cause it made this really fun. They’re not trying to wreck the skyscrapers and squish everyone but they just keep growing and they can’t help it! It’s so chaotic I need more.

Am I the only one who finds it odd there are different preferences for short and long term partners?? I feel like it’s suggesting shorter women are preferable for flings.

For my part at least, I haven’t found myself with a preference either way because most people are taller than me period end of story. My last ex-partner (who was also into size kink, funnily,) was 5’5" but again, even if that’s below average for a man he was still taller than me lol

As you say, conflict drives the story. So roll with that. It’s personal taste, but I’m partial to soft and fluffy stories where the happy moments are earned.

This may go without saying but longer, more character-driven narratives lend themselves to that sort of development. I love it when the characters we’re focusing on are thrown right into the clutches of conflict. I like seeing them work through it and find a harmony between themselves in doing so, whatever that might look like.
