I’ve recently been combing through my size smut collection to find stuff to post here, and it’s really driven home something that I’ve long been aware of but could always use revisiting, especially given the transient nature of the size “community.” I want to talk about the role of the (straight) male gaze in size porn.
Size porn is like any other kind of porn in that it contains the presumption that its audience is mainly straight men. The primary consequence of this is that the vast majority of imagery (and text) focuses on women, usually with an idealized body type. In M/f smut, this means a lot of handheld naked cuties. A lot.
The good news is that this is changing, although perhaps not as fast as one might like. The internet is old enough now that a couple of generations (of all genders and orientations) have grown up with ready access to porn and thus have had the opportunity to develop their own tastes in porn and even start to demand and create alternatives.
Objectified male bodies used to be restricted to gay male porn, and it is telling that the most compelling collages of tiny women and giant cocks are made from cock pics “aimed at” gay men. Giantess City still has a contingent of troglodytes who demand warnings for images of scary penises, claiming that they find the male body “disgusting.” Different strokes and all that, but straight men are tediously vocal about their need to be so insulated.
I have been basically straight my entire life, but one of the allures of size fantasy for me has been the opportunity to put oneself in different perspectives. Seeing a male giant striding toward, me, his cock and balls swinging massively, his eyes lighting up when he spots me, his spreading grin and reaching hand . . . I simultaneously want to escape and to encompass that prospect. I want to be that awesome a sight.
I therefore want to see more giant men in size art (and text). I don’t have a lot of physical vanity, but size fantasy is one arena for me to indulge it. Everyone uses fantasy to embellish their own self-image, and I sometimes think of myself as godlike in M/f scenarios. Of course, one of my favorite size tropes is “tinies can’t be choosers,” and there is a definite thrill to letting one’s imperfections all hang out.
Male body objectification isn’t any less harmful than its female equivalent, but our smut is impoverished without it. Importantly, straight women objectify male bodies qualitatively differently than gay men do. One reason American Psycho remains so striking is that director Mary Harron made us all look at Christian Bale in the way that she did. I want to look at male giants the way that straight female macrophiles do.
My size smut collection contains a tremendous amount of F/f imagery, but I try not to post much of it here because I suspect that most of it is, like most porn, created by straight men for straight men. I’d much rather leave that genre for the WLW size fantasists to express what they like to see.
I struggle with physical descriptions in my M/f stories, too. This mainly comes down to whose perspective I am writing from, and I often adopt the strategy of not physically describing the protagonist so that the reader might more easily insert themselves in their perspective. This strategy seems useful in porn, which is often about primary experiences, but I want to experiment with multiple, possibly conflicting perspectives. It’ll be a challenge, but I hope a rewarding one.
I still have a bunch of handheld cuties to post, but I’m always on the lookout for size porn that prominently features giant male faces, chests, arms, and of course cocks and balls in all their awesome glory.
Everyone deserves to see themselves in size fantasy.

I have long been honest with myself about my sw writing. It’s straight male power fantasy when it gets right down to it. The women are always gorgeous shapely physically fit. One or more usually becomes obsessed with being the male characters sexual plaything. Why do I include these elements, because the first member of my reading audience is me and that’s what I want to read. I am well aware my female characters are overly idealized, it is fantasy writing after all.
But I do include (Depending on the story) elements that are slightly or fully out of my interests in vain hopes to appeal to others in the fandom. I am strangely not interested in Lesbian acts, but I often include such things for example. Likely why I have so little F/f content in my stories. But to grow a audience one needs more then their wants on show. There are some subjects I just can’t get myself to include, people like what people like and people don’t like what they don’t like and I am a person after all.
I myself don’t find male genitalia attractive. On it’s own I wouldn’t look for it. But I do enjoy a good tiny lady hugging a hard cock image. Its part of the fantasy for me. I do look for such content as well as the lovelies in cradling or coiled hands or arching arousingly from a giant’s mouth.
As for describing the male character, I tend to give mostly vague descriptions I think. Hair color, body shape, fit or flabby. But not when the main is the male. I mean when was the last time you picked up something thinking to yourself about how you would describe what you look like. (I might have and forgotten, don’t at me bro )
Really, as should be expected we all have our own writing styles and image preferences. Be honest about what you do and don’t like, but I think we shouldn’t be dicks about either.
Hope this came off as I intended as I agree with your point but wanted to ramble my ideas too.
HH1
PS: On a side note, I hope no one is insulted but I don’t usually read others SW works. And it’s simply a personal thing where I worry I’ll steal something with out meaning to. Many of my started works from my earlier attempts at writing I found incorporated ideas from stories I had read. Likely why I haven’t completed them as they were other’s ideas in a way.
I am more then willing to hedge my bets and look at something if someone really thinks it might be down my alley. I just don’t want to be plagiarizing without realizing it. Hope that also makes sense to people.

@olo I think everyone has the right to see the content they want to see, but I agree that people should be warned of content they don’t want to see, so tagging, sectioning, or warning labels are only logical and obvious to have. I’m a straight guy always have been, I’ve no interest in seeing male genitals unless a woman is involved. Most guys also love lesbian porn along with straight porn because the female body is beautiful to them even with other women. Inclusion is great to have, but don’t force people to view content they have no interest in with content they don’t. It is still important to keep the peace between the camps, same goes for different fetishes and or kinks. I feel the same about TV shows and movies too, warning label it. examples: If the whole plot is more than half about LGBTQ+ most straight people turn away from watching it, feeling no interest or feel it doesn’t include them, unless they can relate in some way with the characters. If you have PTSD you won’t watch a war movie. I’m not prejudice or mysoginistic, but if I can’t relate I have no interest, a black Superman(good idea for African Americans inclusion) or Black Panther (which I’ve never watched because I’m a white guy but I may still watch it someday when I want to.), or any male character that is replaced with a woman, unless she is sexy enough to grab my interest (like Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor), or the plot around her is good or great(like Jodie Whittaker in Dr.Who). Rejecting content people don’t want to see is freedom of choice, but LGBTQ+ or women, and any other race can have the freedom to have their own content for themselves with sections, sites of their own, tags etc. I think we don’t have straight tags because of a straight majority of providers. I’m reminded not everyone is you or me included, I try to keep this in mind, when dealing with this issue that it’s for consideration and decency of others.

I know I’ve written at least one story about an overweight fella having his way with an entire buffet of tiny ladies, but I don’t usually do that kinda stuff because I’m absurdly fat IRL and have some self-loathing issues that therapy is helping with.
But throwing my hat into the ring of the general conversation, I too would like to see more titanic fella’s. There was a time two or five years ago when Giantess fetish was the single fastest growing kink online, and everyone was hopping on board the bandwagon. And slowly, and I’m stressing slowly, I have been seeing male giant stuff being produced.
The one that has been living rent-free in my head for years was the one where this couple was getting down and dirty. Then they find a tiny man spying on them. They respond by picking him up, making him fuck the cum hole on the giant’s dick, while the giantess pleased herself right behind the tiny. It ended with the giant and tiny cumming at the same time, the massive load shoving the little man back into the giantess’s mouth, and she eats him with the load.
For the life of me, I can’t actually find it again. But back to the point, we do need to see more big guys, preferably, dominating the world with their inescapable pressence.

Same here. I want to see more giant men in my own work as well as in others’.
self-loathing issues
It’s clear to me that self-loathing is at the root of many behaviors involving porn. Imagining myself worshipped by tiny women (who find individual regions of my body attractive) is fundamental to my appreciation of M/f size fantasy.
You don’t have to be sexually attracted to a particular body to want to see it, even in porn. And sometimes, for some of us, unattractive bodies are necessary to make the fantasy work.
-
@olo women and men come in all shapes and um sizes that make it more realistic, and everyone has their own preferences of what they find attractive.
-
The giant couple and the shrunken ex is a classic scenario for a number of reasons, and it’s probably the easiest way for straight men to get…acclimated to seeing giant men in size fantasies. (It also seems to be more accessible for introducing newbies to the idea of size, leveraging a common desire for sexual revenge.)
-
@olo Also a shrunken couple can be shrunken by another couple as giants even a shrunken bi lesbian couple shrunk by an ex and his new girlfiend. As long as shrunken women or woman is involved in sex play that’s what straight guys want to read or see to hold their interest. Straights can skip the M/m stuff in a story as long as there is tiny cock riding women and or a tiny woman used as a dildo/vibrator by another woman in the story.
-
@olo I was thinking about this the other day and it feels like you’ve read my mind (I’m very sorry for all of the awful things that you may have seen ).
I love M/f content, although a lot of it feels like it’s not aimed toward me, which is fine. I know that many of the content producers and active members are men and they create what they enjoy (and rightfully so, since everyone should be free to explore the fantasy however they want). Back in the Dark Ages when I first appeared online, almost all of the SW/GT content was aimed toward a male audience, so I just created my own content, usually involving ridiculously hot giants because I have no shame. Since then the size community has expanded, so it’s a little easier to find content that emphasizes the giant man rather than focusing on just the tiny woman. Of course, I have an almost endless thirst, so I keep creating content with ridiculously hot giants.

Hmm. Interesting thoughts.
At personal level, let me start with this: I could picture a lot of perspectives of a tiny woman looking at a giant man, but I have no idea what she would find attractive about it, beyond the sheer power of a giant itself, on the merits of that power alone. I can say that X man is handsome or whatever, but I don’t feel it in a way I can work with; it’s like me saying one car is more attractive than another: maybe one is, at some level, aesthetically superior, but just because I can say a sports car looks better than an old junker doesn’t mean I want to fuck the Ferrari. I’ve read enough that I can guess some points of attraction (abs, dick, ass) but it’s not something I could ever put real emotion in or write well. I don’t like to make a fuss about it, but I derive no pleasure from the male form at all, and at a fundamental level I just don’t understand why people find men attractive.
When I started writing however long ago, I did stuff from the SW’s perspective, but it hasn’t escaped my notice that my, by far, most popular story (let’s be honest here; I’m not sure anyone knows the older ones exist. Hell, with the death of sites I doubt most of them actually exist at all at this point) stars a main character featuring a personality trait I observe in myself, if exaggerated wildly and spiraling in drastically unhealthy ways. Part of it is that I’ve improved as a writer, of course, but I write him from a point and perspective I can understand, and then boldly go with it into directions I’d never allow myself, but still anchored by that fundamental urge we both share allowing him to seem more realistic a person; in that case some degree of obsessive focus, a desire to cherise, and a desire to dominate and control.
I can take some second hand pleasure in reading from a female’s perspective and applying her observations to myself, or deriving a picture of how small she is, but my sheer disinterest, I think, limits my ability to write from a ‘typical’ feminine perspective. I can’t look at a man and feel interested, I have no desire to feel overpowered, and while I can find control kinky, I don’t like the idea of one where I have no control. Giving some control up can be fun, but total surrender at the scale an SW would experience is deeply unpleasant to me.
At best I could probably do some interludes, or perhaps a back and forth between two people, but I feel I’d probably fail to make anything of decent quality if I focused fully from a woman’s point of view.

It’s good to get out of your own head every once in a while.

There is no shame and I for one appreciate a lot of what you’ve written
M/f content is already relatively scant and, as you said, much of that is tailored towards male readers (and I’ve been able to identify this better as I’ve gotten older). Not inherently a bad thing and I’m not going to force people to create content that appeals to me, so I create my own content as well, containing hot, attractive giants. Unfortunately it has its limits and it does take a lot of effort to create, even in the right circumstances. I am fortunate however to have met one of my best friends online and we hype each other up - bless them!

I find that in my enjoyment of size content, the quality and skill of the work matter more to me than whether or not the male porny gaze is obvious. And it is obvious, of course, but that’s fine. If it’s well done, it’s still hot.
Someone else said, their first audience when they write is themselves. I am the same. I have various hobbies, size writing being just one of them, and there are periods (like right now) when I’m not actively working on my macro writing. When I get back to it, I feel drawn by like this call that, “more hot stories about M/f giants have to be written - it’s still so underserved!”
In my M/f stories, I am writing for the sake of the people who see themselves as tiny women first, because that is usually the way I relate to these scenes, and, because I love encouraging tiny women to get more into it. I am glad that straight men enjoy my content as well, it’s always nice to have one’s work appreciated.
There have to be more women out there with this kink, who would be the ones who write less male-gazey-erotica, but I think a lot of them get instead drawn to the realistic-giant size range that’s well served by popular erotic fiction about werewolves and sasquatches, and call themselves monster fuckers, instead. If you’ve ever asked “Where are the women macrophiles”, my theory is, that’s where.

@olo yep! And before that, Dracula (the original fuckable monster), King Kong, Creature from the Black Lagoon, a buncha werewolf movies, etc, etc. This is my sexual studies thesis and I’m sticking to it.
