In light of the upcoming series (which I’m sure many of us are looking forward to), here is a short article from Variety with quotes from series stars and creators on the making of the show. Some cool insights, like how they’ve made physical props for “shrunken scenes”. But I also like their thoughts on the idea of someone being shrunk, as people who are presumably not into size stuff.

I love that they’re still going for a serious tone overall, in spite of this being labeled as a comedy. Lots of information in the article, like Lindy seems to be a very successful woman, a Pulitzer Prize winner no less. Her reaction to being shrunk seems to be mostly anger which is always fun to me
Oh and they are going to be using lots of oversized props and practical effects!Can’t wait to see the trailer, which should be out in the next few weeks…

Obviously we didn’t get a trailer but since it’s on Peacock there’s a large chance that they will use a Superbowl spot for this, probably for a late March/early April release. Only a few months left to go…

We are but days away from seeing the first trailer for The Miniature Wife, either at the Superbowl or during the Olympics. Finally, after all this time! The rumoured air date is now April 9th, and the main cast is know mostly known :

@The-Big-G As a veteran Size world-builder I’m guessing that they know how to safely reduce non-organic materials and they perfectly replicated their own house down to the appliances in miniature before she woke up.

In the book he does shrink stuff for her, so that’s how she’s getting the tiny things her size. I wish she was in an actual dollhouse rather than one with plumbing and electricity but I understand it’s easier for them with the sets and all.

@foreverlurk I’m sure Banks appreciates a set with functioning plumbing rather than a chamber pot.
