This is really stupid and not sexy at all, but it could be a cute idea. There’s tons of sizey stuff out there you could buy and have fun with. A blanket that looks like a tortilla, a donut pool float, a giant spoon.
One time I was holding this giant flower at a craft store and this girl was like “awww, you look like a fairy!” If only she knew how much she made my day!
I LOVE that they’re seated on little shot glasses.

Also sorry that this is unrelated, but the title of the post brought back a memory. I remember in Portal 2 when (spoilers for a 13 year old game) Wheatley gains control of the laboratory, and most of his interactions with you after are commenting on how tiny you look to him. It always made me blush so bad.

I think the trickiest part of it all would be trying not to give away too much of what you’re thinking or feeling. Getting it just right and making those small changes like in your example can definitely add to the experience. Managing to get a tiny’s trust would probably feel so nice. 
My Sindarin is a bit rusty but during the solar eclipse last week, at totality my daughter turned to me and said “mornië alantië!” which made me tear up a bit (and a very proud father lol)

@littlest-lily There’s so many creative ways you could approach communication! You’re right that it would quickly replace any dialogue.
Plus, having no idea what’s going to happen next sounds so exciting. Dialogue gives a lot away so I feel like figuring things out more slowly could be very thrilling.

That was my first thought too, which is why I was thinking all dialogue could be replaced with absolutely anything. As long as each person keeps track of what their own character is saying, it gives the same impression as not being able to understand the language,
For example: The tiny woman stared up at the giant captor, fighting back tears as she clasped her hands together and softly said “Ni nathathol?”
Works for me because I know what I’m saying. I just have to hope my partner doesn’t understand Sindarin.

I was thinking back to this topic and thought about what a cool roleplaying scenario it would make. (I feel like we discussed this more from a writing POV than a roleplaying one.) Imagine roleplaying where you can’t have any dialogue: maybe you just replace it with gibberish to represent the language barrier. Or maybe both characters are mute or their size doesn’t allow them to understand each other.
Even better if you go into it with only the bare minimum established beforehand (obviously things like boundaries, setting, etc). Each participant has to figure out what kind of person their roleplaying partner is, and the lack of understanding makes things even more confusing yet surprising.
It seems really unique in comparison to approaching this as a sole writer, where you know your characters and the structure of your story. I don’t know, just wanted to share this thought. 
@littlest-lily I haven’t seen this in ages but remembered enjoying it. I think it’s a good time for a rewatch. I love going back and watching things I saw as a kid.

@foreverlurk How could anyone resist a bit of teasing? Even my gentlest giants can’t help themselves sometimes.
@foreverlurk I love this especially for gentle content. Like obviously I want a meaner giant to have more control over the situation, but I love scenarios where they’re panicking about it together.
Or the big guy realizes she’s gone and is like “oh shit did she shrink again???” and frantically starts looking under furniture and stuff. 
I wonder if she’s someone whose sneezes come in twos or threes. Sneeze once, shrink. Sneeze second time, grow back. Sneeze third time, shrink again. 
Or have her get smaller with every sneeze. 
For me personally I always get a little bored when size content focuses completely on one thing. I definitely like variety in stories I read, as long as it stays within my limits.
