@Olo oh believe me I know, I worked on systems that would make Orwell blush. Thankfully I’m not at that company anymore but the amount of data we had access to, that people gave willingly, was downright scary.
TikTok probably knows more about (some parts of) me than most of my friends.
@Olo Same goes for experimenting things outside one’s comfort zone, that’s often how you can grow (no pun intended). Which is also close to my own definition of art in general : does it make me feel something? Am I enthralled or disgusted?
The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference.

Same, and that got me in trouble in the past with people who only see the kinky, sexual side. This forum is way more friendly to accommodate both kinds, than some others out there.

Absolutely! I never mentionned it beause I don’t want to sound like I’m wallowing up in self-pity, but it’s likely the main reason I’ve never told any women I cared about. I’d fear of being forever labeled as a weirdo, whereas I feel women can “come out” without facing the same stigma (again, might be societal bias at work here).

That’s a nice solution, much simpler to implement than actually knowing a complete language. Even the terms used for descriptions in English might change as the understanding grows (ie. “giant captor” --> “giant savior”)

My Sindarin is a bit rusty but during the solar eclipse last week, at totality my daughter turned to me and said “mornië alantië!” which made me tear up a bit (and a very proud father lol)
@SmolChlo You’ve unlocked a memory - I did the same with my sister’s beautiful edition of Alice in Wonderland, a French version with gorgeous artwork. I borrowed it secretly, reading the shrinking scenes and looking at the pictures. Forgot to put it back one day, got that look from my sister which made me panic… like, she knows ! 
(My old pre-internet secret stash of SW stuff would be a gold mine. The struggle was real.)

Always loved the idea that I could somehow be that worthy of her trust in spite of being able to end her anytime by accident. Definitely not a level that can be achieved overnight. Part of the reasons I always thought that first interactions with a SW (once discovered and aware of her presence) would be awkward as hell for me, in spite of my inner desires.
And discipline, well… depending on what you have in mind, that can also require a great deal of trust on both sides. But that’s another story.

Micro can definitely be scary for both the SW and the giant! “Where is she!?!” and panicking at the thought that even moving to search for her could potentially be fatal. The utter relief of identifying the moving speck on the ground 
As for bug-sized woman being mistaken for insects, I could see it happening under some circumstances, as our brains would probably go for Occam’s Razor : it’s just a strange bug. It depends on a lot of factors, for instance if she’s wearing clothes (and what colour they are), the speed at which she’s moving, the context (ie. is she on the ground outside, or on an office desk, etc). I used to think “no way I could mistake her for a bug” but VR showed me otherwise and now I’m not so sure
