In their sample of 1,040 adult men and women, 46% reported a desire to engage in, and 34% indicated having engaged in, at least one paraphilic behaviour and having been sexually aroused by it
Well, that’s a much higher percentage than I would have thought! There’s still hope I’m not the only size freak around here…

I’m not female so maybe not qualified to answer fully, but what I personally like about it compared to MOST (not all) male writers :
My take is that usually the male gaze is focused on our (male) needs without delving too much into the consequences of such actions. I guess partly because some male authors would then share at least some level of guilt or shame at their character’s actions, or also perhaps because they don’t actually care and see the SW as a sex object/tool (which is okay sometimes, not judging).
But again I want to reiterate not all male authors are like that.

Oh you know I love this idea! 
If i could run away with it, I would set this in Canada as it would be relevant to our own IRL language issues that have been ongoing between French and English for generations here.
It could bring an interesting personal layer to a situation where they not only have to work out some way over the language barrier, but also overcome their own prejudices towards one another’s cultures.
@SmolChlo It would be awkward to meet IRL and be almost the same height. In my mind, and for all intents and purposes, you really ARE four inches tall (gotta respect everyone’s size identities, right?)

That’s a very good question.
I’m mostly into gentle stuff, but overall the nature of their initial relationship is less important to me than the way they adapt to their size difference. Of course starting as pure strangers/blank slate is easier, and can lead through all the stages of friendship and beyond. But a married couple dynamic could be interesting, ie. shrinking her as a way to spice up their sex life after years of marriage, etc. They both have to live through the ups and downs, struggles of G/t love with all the bittersweet moments that can happen.
@skysayl Stop, you are literally reading my mind. Everything you wrote, everything, that’s what I want. Triggers my saviour fetish, even if I have to be the cause and solution to her size “problems”, hehe. Must protecc her tiny, fragile existence.

You don’t have those? I admit they’re few and far between, but as someone who has sizey thoughts 24/7 it’s just bound to happen.
Oh I’ve had one recently after a VR session(!), seems like my brain liked the idea hehe. The dream was “in VR” but a much, much more advanced version where everything felt 100x more real.

Seriously that’s really hot - I can imagine her getting way too overwhelmed by the experience, while he never thought she’d be so desirable at that size. She wants out, wants him to bring her back to normal but he’s so entranced he’s like “No, I don’t think I will”.
