I’m not female so maybe not qualified to answer fully, but what I personally like about it compared to MOST (not all) male writers :
My take is that usually the male gaze is focused on our (male) needs without delving too much into the consequences of such actions. I guess partly because some male authors would then share at least some level of guilt or shame at their character’s actions, or also perhaps because they don’t actually care and see the SW as a sex object/tool (which is okay sometimes, not judging).
But again I want to reiterate not all male authors are like that.

It’s so interesting that you bring up Freud because that was actually one of my fears when I first thought about going to therapy. I’ve studied him when I was younger and I was worried that his ideas were still being used. I’m much more a fan of Carl Jung, but that’s another story.
Here in Canada, at least in Quebec, CBT is by far the most used method. My therapist main area of expertise is with PTSD for Canadian Armed Forces personnel, where CBT has shown to be greatly effective.

That’s the thing… I’ve already tried to put it down in the past, and the truth is that I simply can’t. It’s not a switch I can turn off, it’s a huge part of my sexuality wheter I want it or not. I thought that I could live without it and it only led to even more frustration and isolation. I realize not everyone with the fetish has this level of intensity, but that’s just my own experience.

Oh you know I love this idea! 
If i could run away with it, I would set this in Canada as it would be relevant to our own IRL language issues that have been ongoing between French and English for generations here.
It could bring an interesting personal layer to a situation where they not only have to work out some way over the language barrier, but also overcome their own prejudices towards one another’s cultures.
@BigCuddlyGiant While it’s still impressive tech, I feel Luma was way overhyped (they cherry picked the videos in their demo).
What I would like is to be able to give keyframes and let the AI interpolate the render in between (yes, I’m thinking of a shrinking sequence, of course 
)

Some more playing around with perspective and making the AI understand the concept of size difference… not that easy sometimes, but rewarding when it does.
That’s a very good question.
I’m mostly into gentle stuff, but overall the nature of their initial relationship is less important to me than the way they adapt to their size difference. Of course starting as pure strangers/blank slate is easier, and can lead through all the stages of friendship and beyond. But a married couple dynamic could be interesting, ie. shrinking her as a way to spice up their sex life after years of marriage, etc. They both have to live through the ups and downs, struggles of G/t love with all the bittersweet moments that can happen.

Hello, time for some new gens from the past week. I’m working on getting better expressions on characters, also better perspective and lighting. Just sharing some here in case you don’t follow my DA. 
First I want to share a fanart I did based on an early chapter from @littlest-lily 's amazing “Rain” series. I’m reading through and I already know I want to do more scenes, some will be quite a challenge but it’s really rewarding once a prompt gives you what had in mind.
This one I liked very much, but of course since it’s M/f I once again got a lot of hate. Some guy went ballistic in the comments and my DMs, I tried to explain what projection/self-insertion was. Don’t know why I wasted my time. Thankfully, the tiny cavalry came in to support me ( including @SmolChlo thanks!!!)
Here I was going for a much smaller size while keeping the details and the proper sense of scale.
This may be the one I’m most proud of…

Seriously that’s really hot - I can imagine her getting way too overwhelmed by the experience, while he never thought she’d be so desirable at that size. She wants out, wants him to bring her back to normal but he’s so entranced he’s like “No, I don’t think I will”.
