Also Hook with Robin Williams.
Stumbled upon an interesting article a while ago about that version of Tink (Clochette in French) and Peter :

They talk about Tink’s love for Peter as a “sad, impossible love” because “she’s tiny, he’s normal sized”, and how she’s egotistically clinging to that pipe dream. Blargh. Normies and their utter lack of imagination, am I right?

according to @foreverlurk I was the pixel lol
You certainly were hehe, and that’s not a bug, it’s a feature… or rather, YOU were the bug

I’ve found it helps when they put a hand next to you or other things to get a better comparison
Duly noted. Although proper FOV and distance blur could really help you guys I think (again, not built with us in mind). It is probably easier from “our” (giant) side since… well, you’re just so tiny down there! No other tricks are required
@SmolChlo I can only offer my own POV, maybe that could be interesting to other giants as well. I’m really not the best at taking pictures in VR but I’m learning…
My hand was clipping through the dollhouse sadly

Into the box you go! (seriously I can’t explain how ridiculously fun it is to put SW into boxes or jars)

Can you spot Lily? (that’s my fingers in the background)

Here you go, I sincerely hope you like it! I kept the overall vibe, maybe now he’s a bit less excited than her being at the beach
Btw I don’t know if you are waiting for SD3 too, it’s almost June and no news that doesn’t sound good. I pray they don’t go private / closed-source.

@Reduce If I could really use magic, a lot of women on this board would be only a few inches tall right now

No, in this case I used an inpainting workflow that allows me to either get very creative from a source render, or try to stick as close as possible the original. I used the latter, which ended up being almost like a retexture. Also took a bit of tweaking to get the right position (limbs, head, etc), we can coax that using something called ControlNet.
Stable Diffusion is a very complex tool, and ComfyUI a messy, badly designed interface. But with patience you can get good results.
@SmolChlo haha it really triggers something in me, like an instinct in my monkey brain, i.e. “must. hunt. tiny. preys”. Like you said, can’t resist the thrill of the hunt!
@SmolChlo I was like “Oooh nice, let’s add this one to my favs!”… annndd it’s already in my favs lol
@giantmaneddie well I just finished that part and those were some amazing renders and a surprisingly emotional story, even if we already knew some bits.
She had found a caring, loving giant. Why can’t society leave them in peace?!

@littlest-lily AHHHH THE PUNS
I know, right? They’re toe-tally effective!
@Nyx Even these short blurbs take me an age to create; I shudder to think of the amount of time required to write anything more.
Lot of respect and admiration for those who do on a regular basis!
@littlest-lily If only I had access to someone fluent in French and English to help me revise or translate my hypothetical stories… one can dream!
@Olo that made me spit my morning coffee lol. All I can say is that variety is the spice of SW… hmmm, spices on SW… homerdrool.gif
Awwww she’s such a cute SW!

Holy… from that angle it looks better than the CGI’d version!
@blehb said in What small details really elevate size content for you?:
Typically shrinking could be seen as a negative representation of feeling anxious, or being placed in an intimidating situation. But I love the idea of reversing that trope and the tiny finding a way to overcome not only that situation, but also their typical irrational fears.
Oh I love that idea, it’s just too easy to tie shrinking purely with negative emotions - in a negative light - all the time!
If only I wasn’t struggling with anxiety myself. I think I mentioned before that even from a young age, this fantasy always had a calming effect on me. There’s something about, like @Nyx said, a SW’s “softness and delicateness and quietness” that work just like benzos sometimes.
Having a giant to protect and comfort you also helps with those feelings as well.
And I like to think it can go both ways - not for protection, of course, but a tiny could also help a giant find his inner strength/confidence, and overcome his fears. Which I realize might go against the common trope of an all-powerful, almost infallible giant!

So, I know this isn’t r/relationship_advice but I figured since you brought the subject, there would be no harm in asking.
There’s this er, friend of mine who would be VERY interested in meeting a “Tiny” as you say. Well, I’m still not sure if your country’s tinies are normal-sized or not (this got confusing quickly!) but we do have Minus-virus-victims here (it’s no conspiracy!), and this “friend” has a huge crush on a lady who got the virus last year. He’s been helping her as her “designated giant” (or Big, if you will) to cope with the aftermath of her change in size, but beyond that the two have been getting to know each other with time.
He liked her even before she got small, but now it’s bordering on an obsession. He dreams about her and gets ridiculously nervous when he’s with her (I know, WTF, a Big nervous in front of a Tiny?!) and he doesn’t quite know how to make a move without scaring her? What if she doesn’t want a relationship with a Big? What if she thinks he’s a weirdo for even considering it? Also, can a Tiny even consent, truly, freely, in spite of the crazy power imbalance? Although all things considered, she does hold quite a lot of power over him, whether she knows it or not.
So, how would you suggest I… he approaches the situation, what’s the best course of action?
Thanks!
