You meant “better”. It could have been better at two inches tall. Next time, Jen.

@SmolChlo haha it really triggers something in me, like an instinct in my monkey brain, i.e. “must. hunt. tiny. preys”. Like you said, can’t resist the thrill of the hunt!

I had some fairy tale books and comics with giants and tinies in them as a kid, but that’s about it.
Confession, one of the things I loved doing as a kid when going to the library was search for “hidden” shrinking scenes in books or comics. I did get lucky a few times! Only had to be sneaky when there was actual G/t on the cover

A man handling his little lady with care and affection is an entirely different mood and presses totally different buttons than a man having his way with her because he’s horny and doesn’t care one bit for her safety
Hear me out, what if he’s gentle and caring but he’s also incredibly horny? That’s the line I like to walk on, because lord knows my desires for a shrunken lady would be several orders of magnitude more than anything I’ve ever experienced with normal sized ones. Must keep self-control… or not.
@Reduce If I could really use magic, a lot of women on this board would be only a few inches tall right now
No, in this case I used an inpainting workflow that allows me to either get very creative from a source render, or try to stick as close as possible the original. I used the latter, which ended up being almost like a retexture. Also took a bit of tweaking to get the right position (limbs, head, etc), we can coax that using something called ControlNet.
Stable Diffusion is a very complex tool, and ComfyUI a messy, badly designed interface. But with patience you can get good results.
@SizePrize69 said in Have you ever bought books, novels or e-books (whether in Amazon or at real-life libraries) that indulge your size kink fantasies?:
I somehow have this preconceived idea that female writers tend to focus more on eliciting emotional responses and focus more on the build-up to sexual scenes.
There’s some of that, sure, but it goes even beyond. Just like us, they had the fetish their whole live and spent a lot of time imagining things from a whole difference perspective. Sometimes tiny details they bring up will make me go “wtf I never thought of that!”. Lots of insights into their minds, related to fear, the loss of control, their world perception when tiny, sensory overloads and the dependence / domination by the giant.
Then again I don’t want to speak for all males, I know some who experience the fetish through the SW’s experience, in a more submissive way. There’s no right or wrong way to do it. Me, I seek a way to immerse myself into the fantasy. I prefer the focus to be on the shrunken woman almost exclusively, and narratively leave me enough space to sort of take over the experience and fill in the blanks with my mind about the giant.
@SizePrize69 Yes, I’m male and I have bought many books from authors within the community over the years, although if I’m being honest some of the absolute best SW stories I’ve read were free. I’ve even bought mainstream books not written by the community that include shrinking, like the “Meek” trilogy.
A few that comes to mind :
Highly recommend those books, btw. About male/fem gaze… it’s a relatively new luxury that we have more female authors and I’m here for it. I’ve read so many SW stories from the POV of giants to last me a lifetime, and discovering something written from the other side is so refreshing.
That doesn’t mean that I don’t find malegaze interesting, hell that’s probably all that I could write if I tried anyway, hehe.

It’s all yours, i don’t think i will return to DA.
I can’t simply take it - maybe I could credit it to “EpicIllusionist” or another nick of yours? Maybe just “… someone ‘who’ wishes to remain anonymous?”
@Epic-Illusionist said in Yet another boring sw picture:
Wow! That is exactly what i wanted to achieve with comfyui, but it takes a genius like yours to come up with the right workflow! thanks!
So glad you liked it! I can’t accept all the praise, I’ve had a very good initial render to work with! I love how cleanly separated each elements where so I could nicely isolate and inpaint them accordingly. My
spaghetti workflow isn’t that complex, but it’s a mess of created from random tutorials, half-arsed technical documentation and stuff to work around the limitations/bugs.
That got me thinking that, seriously, if I took the time to learn 3D modelling like Blender that would save me soooo much time from prompting and working around the “no-fun-allowed” filters. Maybe then I could be accepted as a “real” digital artist, too.
Can’t wait for SD3. Do you have a DeviantArt, still? With your permission I would like to upload that piece, with full credit to you of course.
Here you go, I sincerely hope you like it! I kept the overall vibe, maybe now he’s a bit less excited than her being at the beach Btw I don’t know if you are waiting for SD3 too, it’s almost June and no news that doesn’t sound good. I pray they don’t go private / closed-source.
@Epic-Illusionist It’s not boring all at, sir. In fact, would you mind if I did a little tribute to your work?
I’ve been wanting to try a few new workflows in ComfyUI and that render would be perfect.

Hahaha, careful there miss, I think you’re drooling a little. Don’t know if you realise how similar we are but in opposites directions. Someone posted a nice SW artwork on DA and the girl was about 10-12" tall, everyone was like “oh perfect size, my favourite, etc”.
And I was there thinking "But what if… S M A L L E R
(Meryn Trant’s voice “Too BIG!” /ref)
@littlest-lily How do you always manage to come up with such cute little scenarios?
Now, I’ll have to hold back from endlessly raving about my love of mechanical keyboards. My father was a software engineer, and the sound of his old buckling spring Model “M” from the 80s still evokes Proustian nostalgia for me, with its clickety-clack-clack.
@miss-lillipants Okay he’s not a “giant” in the sense we think of, but he’s still freaking SEVEN FOOT TWO (218 cm!)
And yeah I hate being baited by sizey book covers or promotional posters, which sometimes you can sort of understand why they went with the G/t symbolism (ie. power dynamics), but sometimes it’s like… what!?! There’s nothing justifying a shrunken girl on the cover lol
Speaking of, I’ve seen the new Minami-kun reboot posters and teasers and now I’m even more mad at the gender-swap
