From a formatting perspective, I would defer to those few authors who have started posting long (ie, multi-post) fiction here. I’ve posted a couple of stories on Eka’s, and I gotta say I don’t care for the presentation there. Just my personal opinion.

I don’t know how many “casual” readers of this forum already have or want to make accounts on Eka’s. If you’ve a mind to create some M/f content exclusively for DD, I think that would be glorious.

Special Unit 2 was a short-lived sci-fi/fantasy series in 2001-2002 about a secret (municipal!) police unit tasked with discreetly handling mythological creatures and events that weren’t all that mythological. These creatures were collectively referred to as “Links” (as in “Missing Link”).

In the second season opener “The Grain,” there’s a brief scene with a Link called a “Parasite,” which apparently takes the form of a tiny human and eats living entrails. Nothing more about Parasite ecology is ever explained, but who cares because it’s played by the scrumptious Michelle Krusiec in a bikini. Enjoy.

Go ahead and upload a sampler of what you’re considering. You might be right that no one will be interested, but I think it’s worth a try anyway. You never know what might get awakened.
