@SmolChlo would be nice to have a Nintendo my size, though don’t mind playing with one much larger than me.

@Olo I guess I’ll need to turn this into a pain tolerance test

RE: Does size have the potential of going above and beyond a fetish community?
@i-am-insane Ok, I know it’s not easy to dress up a sizey person. But people in this community use sizes as identities, for instance a person identifying as a giant. So these size identities may not entirely be like dressing up in a fur suite, but they still are ways people express themselves in the community. Maybe if people did want to dress up, the smaller people could wear fairy wings or have a huge pin as a prop. Or the people on the larger end of the spectrum could make rings that resemble broken buckets or make a fake dragon to attach to their shoulders. But those are just my ideas and I see where you are going at with this.
Also for the oppression part you said, I understand that g/t ties in with domination. But the domination aspect is primarily on the the fetish side of the community. I don’t think Gt/sw ties in with social issues and I think it’s more of an escapism, at least for me. But maybe size could get more popular if people realize gt/sw is not “abusive”.

@littlest-lily manipulation seems like a good tactic too

RE: Why liking M/f is not misogynistic
@Olo you and the rest of the sizeists on here are very creative indeed

RE: Butch lesbian giantesses
@Olo This is absolutely amazing. I love the way she is holding all those girls. Although Overwatch has died a long time ago. Pictures like these keep the ip strong. Thank you so much for this.

RE: Does size have the potential of going above and beyond a fetish community?
@Olo Now since I think about it, I agree with what you said, that your not waiting for size to be mainstream. I guess it would be a bad thing since you also said it would be exploited by capitalism. I thought this may be an interesting topic to dwelve in because I feel as if the size community has become so much over the past years. I also wanted to try and predict where this community is headed. You are right about how there is no single size community.

RE: Why do you want to be shrunk?
@tiny-ivy That’s weird, I’ve seen a lot of tall guys irl and I became a macrophile.
Well I’m not a monster fucker either. So I don’t have said experience. I do think that there is a big overlap between macrophilia and monster fuckers in general. I have seen people who have made macro micro content also make monster people content. I guess giants could fall under the monster people category.
I guess I like giants better because I like tall guys and they are basically tall guys but on a whole another level.

RE: DeviantArt Content Policies
@Olo This was very well explained on your website. I really wish wix never bought deviantart.

RE: Why do you want to be shrunk?
@tiny-ivy Oh you didn’t invalidate me, that could be a possibility

-
RE: DeviantArt Content Policies
@Olo yeah, deviantart really started to go down hill when wix bought it, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping

RE: Belonging to a famous giant/ess
@ShifterSilver I am a bit apprehensive about having size fantasies about celebrities because I don’t know if they consent. But I would want to belong to a giant alternative Japanese band member.

RE: Why liking M/f is not misogynistic
@Olo This is a good blog, exactly what I was trying to do to validate people on this site.
I know this is going to get off topic but are you a size switch? I want to know so I can know how to better respect you.

RE: Beards or no?
@Olo I am personally not attracted to beards and facial hair in general

RE: I wish there was a term for exclusively male giants
@DFP said in I wish there was a term for exclusively male giants:
The problem isn’t that women are special. It’s more that women are the exception. So, we come up with words like “giant” to designate large people, but then we start to show female giants, and we need a way to designate them, so we create the term “giantess”. The problem isn’t the language. It’s the way people use it. Because people are too lazy to type 4 extra letters “giant” gets used for big folks regardless of gender. Then we begin to label people that do correctly say “giantess” as sexist and insult them for speaking properly. It’s somewhat amazing to me because I’d get the same label if I started writing “men” regardless of gender so I could avoid typing 2 more letters. It’s not exceptionalism so much as laziness and political correctness run amok.
I’d suggest that within this community if nowhere else, the word “giant” be used exclusively to refer to males of size and “giantess” be used to refer to females of size. Also, any time someone doesn’t use the correct terms they be politely corrected.
Women being the exception actually better describes how I feel about the term giantess. I guess the term “giantess” upsets me because it reminds me how much our language is rooted in patriarchy, with people thinking the default gender is male.
About using the word “giant” to exclusively refer to males of size. What would people use to describe people of size outside of the traditional gender binary? Xgiant or something like that?
