What are your favorite clothing items for giants/tinies?

@foreverlurk Oh duh. Literally everything you said describes a figurine over the typical miniatures. My favorite thing about 40k is seeing peoples paintings so my mind immediately goes there.
I don’t have any myself, but I think the quality on some figurines is so amazing! And I would love to get into painting miniatures as well, but that’s another craft I don’t need to distract myself with. What other figurines do you have if you don’t mind sharing?
I have an appreciation for the nuns with guns. Like I said, I would consider choosing them, but to be embarrassingly honest, they’re a little too dominatrix for me to play and I would feel shy about it LOL. I am too much of a sub for them.
@blehb Armour can be fun to take off from tinies, in a weird sensual way. It’s hard to explain but removing soft clothes is one thing, but removing heavy ceramite armor pieces? A bit of effort to get to my prize
Like peeling a hard boiled egg.

Or a little shrimp, hehe.
I don’t want to rant and rave about WH40K but I’ve been playing close to 20 years (+/- 25 if you include 2nd ed. Space Hulk). I bought, and sold, many different armies for many editions. Back in the days, I tried to paint my own minis. LOL. After that epic fail, I commissioned people to paint them, but now I have my own
slaveteenager at home who has infinitely more artistic talent than I do that does it for free.My figurines collection started without me even trying, just slowly bought over the years, collector editions games and blurays. I have superheroes, video game & anime characters, all in the 4" to 12" range. I should get my collection properly displayed, still a bit so self-conscious. Speaking of, the next thinkg I’m after is a Phicen doll, they are 10" high which is still too big for my taste but apparently their “skin” is made of this soft silicon which feels human to the touch, and seamlessly covers their entire body (again, feel free to judge me people - I’m still really curious to hold one! )

I’m a Miami Dolphins fan for life (I like pain ).
When I was six years old, I told my parents I was going to be married at the Orange Bowl and my best man would be Larry Csonka.

@foreverlurk I’m a 40k noob. I have some friends super into it and I love hanging out and watching them play. I considered getting my own army, but I already have so many other projects I’m doing- I don’t need to invest time and money into something else. Maybe in the future though! I still love looking at paintings and I learned quite a bit about the lore while researching the armies.
Looked into the Phicen figurines and found people making mini-me versions of themselves. It’s extremely impressive and I’m sort of tempted to try it??? Maybe we need a DD arts and crafts day.
And there I go again trying to get into ANOTHER hobby…

I’ll be honest, I’ve been thinking about trying my hand with WH40K miniatures. I was leaning towards Astarties, ultimately, since they seem versatile, but after the last page or so of posts… I’m wondering if I should go Sororitas, scratch two itches at the same time. It certainly seems tempting now.

@blehb I come from Space Hulk which is a really
frustratingfun game that dates back to before Games Workshop got greedy. Armoured marines with angelic names purging heretics called to me hehe. Some artists are modding their Phicen dolls, some look really life-like (the default heads are uncanny-valley territory). I’m really curious about the “skin” feel. I’ve seen people use them for all sorts of… things. Personally, at that price point I’d be VERY careful with what I do to my dolls, hehe (that’s kinda meta, I wouldn’t want to break my SW either).

Sisters of Battle and Astartes are both solid choices. I’d say the Astartes are a bit more beginner-friendly in terms of rules. Just stay away from AdMech. If you’re unsure about the game and maybe want to test it before diving in fully, I’ve heard great things about the starter set:

Or if you have friends that can show you how to play, that’s even better. Oh, and get ready to spend quite a few $$$

For giants, I prefer a simple pair of boxer briefs, preferably unwashed and made of stretchy, silky fabric. Otherwise, a diaper.
For tinies, modest dresses or skirts, although if I had to pick only one, I’d go with a pretty French maid uniform.

@foreverlurk When looking at miniatures I thought it would be really cool to paint them to resemble some of the 40k content from the 80s. Give it a bit of a comic book style and you could have a really unique looking army. I’m sure plenty of people have already done this though!

Aaand now I’m down a rabbit hole.

@Reduce Boxer briefs… the ultimate prison.

Found this, and all things considered it feels appropiated.
…And like a story idea. (Damn it, too many idea. Consolidation can only do so much.)

@blehb hahaha honestly I have never taken Armour off of one of my dolls before… I think I may have to give that a try! It does sound incredibly sensual. Especially as the Armour is meant to protect the wearer, but it cannot protect the wearer from the giant! :3 for me I LOVE having my dolls dress up for me! Which is why I prefer to get my dolls a closet full of dresses, outfits, costumes , lingerie, heels, boots, shoes and anything else that I might enjoy :3

Barbie-style giant closet sounds like a dream for any tiny lady.
