The SW fans are bummed I’m sure but I had a feeling this twist was coming, there are of course multiple questions on why Emma never brought this up.

@giantmaneddie In all seriousness though, as a writer that’s written scene blocking and pacing, that could have been written better.

There was too much lapse in time through which she left the bed; went to the toilet; returned, to have carried the momentum through of her humiliation.

@nephilim I think it was implied she wanted affection that bad. But yeah, also trying to hide how she shrunk which is revealed in the episode after.

I do hope we get more Tiny Emma and her realizing tiny is cool.

I’ve heard stories with a similar message. That the love you get from fans is not the same as the love you get from personal relationships.
