What’s y’alls preferred size?
I personally like around 3-6 inches, small enough to fit in the palm of my hand and tickle with my finger. -
I tend to focus on extreme size differences; a part of my brain really likes the idea of “the bigger, the better.” Most of my stories/fantasies involve 1 inch tall people (or the equivalent if it’s a giant scenario).

I like the 12:1 scale myself. (IE: 1 foot reduced to 1 inch) Makes the Shrunken character about 5-6 inches or so. Good hand held size in my mind.

Tinies under 3 inches can be swallowed whole, which may or may not be appropriate.
Enclosing little ladies in my hand
or mouth 
is very important to me, so 3-4 inches is the maximum height for that consideration. That height also works for most pockets. 
Between 4 and 6 inches is also pleasant because her features are easier to see.
Above 6 inches she becomes difficult to contain. I like a good chase as much as the next guy, but every day gets to be a chore.

I prefer around 1:20; between 3-4 inches for tinies, or 100-150ft for giants. I’m a gentle fan so, for me, this gives enough size discrepancy for a lot of interaction with enough leeway to turn a fluffy situation into an intimidating or fearful one.
Lately though, I’ve been appreciating larger ratios (e.g. around <1-2 inches for tinies, or 200-400ft for giants) if I’m itching for more destruction, domination and godliness.

Anywhere between 4 inch to 3 feet tall for me. Depending on weather or not I was a snack or a sextoy.

I have two different “modes” I guess. One favorite is right at 3 inches (but anything between 2-4 inches works). So tiny, but also still nice for cuddling. I don’t hate sizes above that, but anything above 6 or so inches and I start getting a little bored, for me the bigger sizes are just fun places to pause in the midst of getting shrunken down.
I’m also a lover of extreme size differences, so when I’m in the mood then the smaller the better. The thought of being nothing but a speck to a gigantic man and completely at his mercy is pretty intoxicating. But even then I guess I have my limits, I wouldn’t want to actually be invisible to him and get lost. But barely visible? Yes please.

At the biggest I’d say 3 foot at smallest I’d say 6 inches

I’m also into the 3-5 inch range for the same reasons you listed. I also like how when I wrap my fingers around a tiny girl’s body, everything below her neck becomes engulfed. For some reason, I’m less into seeing her little legs dangling from the other side. Which is what you see from 6 inches and above.

My “house standard” is 1/3rd of their original height. Most of the girls come in between 21" and 22". My tallest is Lily at just over two feet with Toshi being the shortest at just 20" even.
I usually keep one full-time “big girl”, who is half-sized. During the day her job is to keep order and make sure that everyone understands what their duties are. She also acts as my valet, bath attendant and personal assistant during the day. At night… well… she winds up being something like my teddy bear.
Normally when I bring home a new girl she spends her first week at 1/5th scale. Just until she learns the routine.

I normally prefer 3-6 inches something I can hold in my hand. But I have recently found a story about a 1 Mm girl that is trapped in a crouch of a giant. I found that to be so hot. The idea of minuscule girls scurrying around in a forest of pubes to be hot/adorable.
