A guy is dating a girl, and he knows she wants to be a tiny. He has the ability to grant her wish, but she suspects nothing. Without warning, he shrinks her to the size of his pinky finger, but he times it perfectly so that the shrinking happens at the exact moment when she sneezes. She will be scared, overwhelmed, happy, excited, and several other emotions all at once…but most importantly, she will also be afraid of what happens if she sneezes again.

The guy will tell her what happened eventually…but only AFTER he’s had his fun with her. 😈

(Disclaimer: The guy in this scenario is definitely NOT me. I would NEVER do such a thing! Any unexpected shrinkage you may experience in the future obviously has NOTHING to do with me whatsoever! 😏 I just thought “wouldn’t it be a cool idea if…you know…”)

@protect-tinies I barely know when I’m going to sneeze. How the hell am I supposed to predict when she’s going to sneeze?

@Olo VERY quick reflexes. 😏 Absolutely necessary when you’re a giant who has to become accustomed to catching clumsy tinies falling from high places.

Imagine if shrinking really did happen because of a sneeze… I’d be pretty small right now, having had a seasonal sneezing fit today.

I wonder if she’s someone whose sneezes come in twos or threes. Sneeze once, shrink. Sneeze second time, grow back. Sneeze third time, shrink again. 😵

Or have her get smaller with every sneeze. 😈

I love shrinking triggers like this. It’s fun when the shrinking is out of the SW’s direct control, but even more fun when it’s just slightly out of her control, ie.

                • Shrinking when feeling a specific emotion (embarrassed/sad)
                • Shrinking when in contact with something (rain/water)
                • Shrinking when hearing a specific word (“shrink!”)
                • Shrinking when turned on. 😵

Things like these are less on the nose than shrink rays or potions, and the unpredicability of her size change is chef’s kiss to me. Getting tiny at the worst best possible time… 😧

If you say pineapple when you start to feel a sneeze forming, it’ll make it stop lol

@SmolChlo I had never heard that before, but it gets lots of google hits so it must be a thing.

I’ve never been able to hold a sneeze and I’m not sure I want to. Post-sneeze clarity is too good.

@SmolChlo Plot twist: this scenario takes place in medieval Norway, where no one has ever heard the word “pineapple”! 😄 Now the tiny is truly screwed.

@protect-tinies I’m not opposed to screeching which I’m sure is just as effective 👀 There will be no sneezing on my watch

@foreverlurk True, but medieval Norwegians have never even SEEN a pineapple, and therefore wouldn’t call them anything at all. 😁 It works on two levels…

@protect-tinies Medieval Norwegians traveled amazingly far. They did more trading than raiding. They could have easily seen tropical fruit in Tangier or Alexandria.

@Olo It’s ridiculous, they ended up being bodyguards for the Eastern Roman emperors. They also left graffitis in far away places…

@protect-tinies Je suis un ananas. Your argument is invalid.
